I didn't see any walls. The player was running, heard a vehicle and went prone. I'm guessing where they showed wasn't really where they were.

I'e only seem something like that one other time. Once near one of those little tiny buildings people hide in (the ones barely big enough for one person to go prone in) someone looked to be lying right next to one. I shot at them but nothing. The game showed them outside clearly but they were really inside.

It's the building in the back, you can see it fluctuating a bit.

If it happens again I'll be sure to get 4k footage instead of this blurry 720p. I should have taken a video of the first screenshot where I was seeing people running around in the building when the walls would disappear.

I deleted it for now and I'll post again if I see it appear, I thought it was a bit more clear when I recorded it last night.

Finally got that elusive solo Chicken Dinner:banana:

Is it just me or does it seem like the hit detection just randomly goes to s*** in this game? Not sure if it is due to lag or server inconsistencies or what, but I have had a few fire fights now that I 100% should have won but didn't.

Happens to me all the time. It's got to be lag, or whatever it is with their net code. I'm decent enough at other shooters that my survival ratio in firefights shouldn't be this bad.

Man I frighten hate cars in solo... I never die by them anymore but they get me killed by other players

It is just weird.

I killed 3 people but then died to the player I 1.) Had the drop on. 2.) Hit him multiple times before he shot back. 3.) I was far better geared with L2 helmet & L3 vest compared to his L1 gear.

After those opening hits he should have been 1 or 2 hits from dead, but no other shots registered.

Came in #4 last night with 2 buddies. Getting close.

What areas do you guys like to dive into?

So far we like the ruins area, logging camp, and down the road from the school. Try to stay away from the bigger areas/towns.

I like the mansion and ruins and the pier.

Prison, military base, hospital, apartments next to the school, pochinki, shelter.

I like the area just south of the big Georgopol Hills (the real jaggy rocks you can see easily from the air). The buildings are spread out enough so that you don't get a lot of people and I usually can find decent gear. Around but not on Gatka and those long concrete tunnel things.

It really depends on where the plane goes though. Most times I'm just waiting until the last part of the island and aiming somewhere with some buildings. Really, all I want at the start is to find some gear and avoid a fight until I at least have a few good guns.

It is tough though, as often I'm very far from the circle. I hate having to jump in a vehicle as the noise basically screams "here I am, shoot me!".

Everyone who posted where they like to hang out just put HUGE targets on their backs. Expect more deaths than usual. Nice job, geniuses! Ha!

On that note, I got my ass handed to me last night. Pissed me off...

Nowhere. I like to try different spots as much as possible. Also depends how I want to start the game, if I want to be passive then I jump into areas as far from high risk zones as possible. If I want early action then I drop into high risk areas.

Vehicles are a double edged sword. Love them and hate them.

I hate them more now. Basically they are a giant "here I am, shoot me" beacon.

Sometimes if you get unlucky with the zone you have to jump in, but I'm finding it really hard to survive getting out of a vehicle. I try to find an out of the way spot to ditch the vehicle, but basically anyone in the area knows where you are now.

If anyone has some good tips for getting out of a vehicle, I'd love to hear them. I try to stop right behind a building so I can jump out but even then once inside every scope is on every window as everyone nearby knows exactly where you are.

I honestly find myself running right past empty vehicles a lot of the time (assuming I can run for it).

I have had no success lately. I had one 7th place finish but otherwise have struggled to get into the top 25. Game is so fun and frustrating at the same time.

1. Don't park the car in the place you want to go.

2. Make sure you park the car so it can act as cover, and make sure the driver side is next to cover. Leaving you between the car and a tree for example.

3. Try and drive the car to less populated areas. In the early game try afoiding areas easily reachable from the plane path.

We like to get a vehicle early to get to the first couple circles then ditch it and going on foot for the last couple smaller circles.

Do you "float" out a bit to find a more secluded spot? I tend to beeline straight down but avoid the high traffic areas but I end up still running into people.

I just don't like to spend so much time on the float, but I'm guessing that the zone doesn't start until everyone lands?

I just went a whole match without a vest and only a lvl 1 helmet. I had an AKM and a pistol. It got down to the final 10 when I rattled off 3 kills one after the other. One guy I killed had a lvl 2 vest and a lvl 3 helmet. So I put those in and grabbed an energy drink and ammo for rifle. Suddenly it was down to me and one other person. I got killed by not being in the circle. Neither one of us was in the circle. I just died first.

I couldn't believe I made it that far with hardly nothing for the majority of the match.

Nah, I don't float. I go as far from the plane path as the dive allows. If you land near a vehicle then you can aalways drive straight to a town that was nowhere near the flight path.
