Can you believe that you’ll be able to get your hands on DRIVECLUB next week!?

Let’s celebrate with a brand new video showing some of the crazy action and racing you’ll get to experience at launch.

Besides sharing a new video with you, I’d also like to take this time to thank you for your amazing support and patience this year.

The Evo team has done everything possible to make your wait for DRIVECLUB worth it, and it’s the support we get from players that really spurs us on. Keep being awesome and enjoy the game!

Don’t forget, DRIVECLUB is eligible for automatic pre-load so if you’ve pre-ordered the game through PlayStation Store, you’ll be able to jump right in and start racing as soon as DRIVECLUB launches at Midnight Pacific.

PlayStation Plus members can pre-order the game now through PlayStation Store, or if you’d prefer a Blu-ray copy, we have lots of pre-order offers at participating retailers that will give you immediate access to supercars, exclusive livery designs, and a big Fame Point boost to get you ahead of the pack right off the line.

We’d love to keep hearing from you while we continue to bring updates to DRIVECLUB, so get in touch on Twitter and Facebook.

The pc rendered footage the showed when the game was announced looked awesome, but the final result looks too downgraded imho. They have to give it another year of work I think.

I won't buy it for my ps4, they have been lying to much about how awesome it looks, and now we see the final results :-!

Not sure if serious? The game looks amazing and it definitely looks better than any other races we've seen so far.

Definitely didn't look like CG to me and we've definitely seen obvious gameplay before and it looked great.

This downgrade talk is complete nonsense. This is the first officially released gameplay footage of Driveclub. It looks WORSE than the launch gameplay footage, with far more aliasing.

Obviously the non-gameplay trailers aren't the same as gameplay footage, they use replay mode/bullshot mode or whatever you want to call it. Most racing games do this.

Please stop trolling Driveclub's visuals and go back to your directx secret sauce threads or whatever.

Can't wait, I'll have the best of both worlds, its like racing euphoria with this and FH2. Long as DC holds up its end.

but its 30fps :smash:
You are getting far too hung up on the numbers. Play it and see if its fun or not. That should be your barrier to entry, not the spec sheet. Forza Horizon 2 controls wonderfully, is a blast to play, and it's 30fps.

It's amazing to me that a stat has such an impact. Maybe if it were a sim, but again, it depends on if they nail that control. Stability is more important, imo.

1080p 30 fps clip

hmmm, the first footage we saw last year lookend awesome, like a movie - bc it was a CGI movie.

real in-game footage is another story in afraid. I'll try it on my ps oc, but I think there may be other driving games I like better.
Who cares? Games go through different iterations during development. As more is added to a game, the more load it puts on the system. The replay footage argument is used in every racing game thread ever.

If you want to make an honest comment on your impressions, there is a better way than trolling. It may not be your intent, but this comes across as fanboy fodder.

Personally, I think it a gorgeous game, but I don't find the footage very compelling. Invisible walls that make it feel like driving in s tunnel, as well a pretty lean amount of content worry me. I can't help but feel the hype for this one its based almost solely on the visuals. It seems to be missing a lot of things competing racers have.

I also can't believe after the delays they still have to patch in the weather when so much of the showing off footage has involved it.

30 fps and racing don't mix IMO

To be completely fair, that screenshot looks terrible. The mountain range looks like it came straight out of a PS2 game.

This is a game which is going to look much better in motion than pictures.

Rushy's post from NeoGAF-discussion, after discussing youtube-footage with gameplay with unlucky light-source placement:

DualShockers comment after doing article about the post:

Bad devs - First of all, he didn't lower the sun, so he could use exactly the same angle in the illustration - and secondly the picture looked more realistic than the videogamey look of the videogame.. :-/

I get the shadow thing, and the shadow shouldn't be showing. so I think that is accurate. But what about those graphics there? The car looks like it's floating.

On a positive note, I like the cosmetic damage when the mini gets hit.
