$100 for 20 games, and an AC adaptor isn't even included. Get real. Wouldn't some of these games be available on PS4 anyhow? Assuming you even wanted to play them. I thought I wanted to play a bunch of BC titles on the X, but I ended up finding the experience pretty underwhelming, even with 16x native rez boost. I just don't have much interest in going back and replaying games from 20 years ago.
No AC adapter? How do you turn it on?

Should be the same as the NES/SNES classic with a USB plug in. You'll just need an adapter. These days companies don't want to give you stuff that has always come in the box.

This and the C64 mini finally have me interested in the retro consoles.

I think Nintendo started the nonsense of not providing charging cables with the release of the 3DS.

Don't know how it is today, but back when I sold cameras, they rarely gave away an ac-adapter, only the USB-cables... this was 5 years ago though, so maybe it's different today.

I'm still waiting to hear what the 20 games are. If 3 of them are Syphon Filter, I may consider a purchase, but that's probably unlikely.

I recall trying to play Syphon Filter no less than 10 years ago and they didn't hold up then. But then again, those games never really resonated with me when they first came out either.

Nice list, still not getting this though. When I look at screen good god this did not age well. One game I see missing from that list is Final Fantasy Tactics.

I don’t think PS1 games have aged well. I’d be more interested in a N64 mini.

Several of those are available on the Store if you have a PS3, but it would be a good list for me personally if I didn't have that option.

Fixed for games still fairly holding up.
Also, how they thought it was a good idea to not give us analogue stick controller and metal gear is pretty mind boggling tbh.

Agrees, still getting it... hoping it'll get hacked fairly soon and make it possible to put more games in there. Wouldn't have bought my SNES mini if it wasn't for the possibility to cram it with my physical library.

I'd be willing to pay $50 for this just for collecting. I can play most of these on other devices much cheaper. :meh:

I understand the reason to bring the original launch (or to close too) games, but there's many of the games that have much, much better sequels that would've been better to use...
Also, no Tony hawk??

I just realized that the list posted above by postaboy is not the actual list for NA. (I may have misunderstood -- I thought he was posting the NA list, but I guess it's the Japanese list).

Here is the NA/Western list:

  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Intelligent Qube
  • Jumping Flash
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Mr Driller
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Resident Evil Director’s Cut
  • Revelations: Persona
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
  • Twisted Metal
  • Wild Arms

That's a better selection. Nice to see Syphon Filter there.
