I grabbed that deal before and am waiting for my PSVR to arrive today. I don't know if that deal is still active though
Interesting. I had no problems with Until Dawn: RoB (so far), but RIGS makes me very nauseous. Ok, the "meat" level makes me feel a bit ill, but probably for different reasons.Well, got my VR set up and... I need a barf bag. Until Dawn Rush of Blood was great, but the rollercoaster stuff..
I took a break and tried Rigs and it is getting much better though. The technology is really cool, but I hope I didn't pay $300 for something to make me barf. I could have bought a bottle of cheap tequila for a lot less/

Some people speak of a period of adjustment, where they get their "VR legs," so hopefully that will happen for you as well.
I've also been taking a ton of painkillers for a terrible knee and those tend to mess with my stomach. I'm hoping that's part of it.
I like to take my opioids with some pseudo's when gaming to avoid feeling groggy with wine.Depending on what type of pain killers we're talking about, they can make your thinking a bit foggy and mess with your sense of balance, too, so maybe that's a factor.
Now clear some room and try Arkham VR! It's actually a slow placed game and not likely to make you feel sick. It's more detective than anything.Just tylenol and ibuprofin, nothing fun
I'll keep trying. It does seem better as long as I don't spend too much time all at once.
It does seem to improve a little each time. I'm sticking with it for now.
So I have had the Farpoint VR bundle in my Amazon cart since before release and never once saw it in stock. Seen ebay asking prices at $150+. Just on a whim I went to Gamestop and lo and behold they had them in stock for $80. My bundle came in today so I'm really looking forward to giving this aim controller a go. I've heard lots of good things. Pew, pew!!!
Nice job! You are in for a treat if you like sci fi shooters. It is one of the most immersive experiences I've ever had.
Cool beans, fixing to fire it up now. I was surprised that the gun is 1 self-contained unit. From the pictures I thought I had to stick my move controller into the barrel. It looks like a pretty high quality peripheral. I really hope that in the future it will get support in other games (looking at you Doom VFR!).
Yeah, there are a ton of options too. I use 11 setting with smooth turning, feels just like an fps, but better.
Well that was a unique experience last night! I need to work on the options more as I haven't figured out how to turn properly or re-center myself. I did switch to smooth and had no issues with any queasiness. It feels more like you are floating than walking.
But the immersion on this Mars-like planet is incredible. And the gun is a pleasure to use. I must have played for 2-3 hours last night. Great fun!

The dude playing it is using the teleport method to play the game, which just sounds rediculous to start off with.
I'd still like to try the game in VR. Seeing the Dragonrun under attack in VR would be amazing.
It will be everyones 10th copy of the game by that point.I'll be using the controller. Maybe they'll find a solution for full locomotion with the Moves? A couple of games have that.
As this article states, there is a guy on reddit who played it today and said its pretty amazing in VR.
