I remember TXB but never joined. I was a regular at Gamersyde since 2005 when I was resting at a FOB in Iraq that had internet labs. That was a treat. I started looking for another forum when the Xbox One came out because it was getting a bit toxic, and it was no fun for an xbox fan.

wish I knew. I actually joined sometime when the 360 had the blade dashboard, but lurked for a long time before that. It was a lot of fun for me reading the OTL back then.

...they should bring back the blades as a menu option
 
I was visiting since 2003, but I joined in October 2004 so I could troll some guy named The Gib or something. I don't remember why, but he was posting stuff that annoyed me at the time.

Fooook, bro! I remember the kitchens! Them damn kitchen ads... I was basically like, "yeah. I'm seriously considering redoing my kitchen at this point. Stick a fork in it - TXB is toast."

And wasnt there someone who stayed behind that kept arguing with himself? We'd all left because of those damn kitchen posts kept popping up. There was a HUGE Sony fan who was so riled up, he stayed behind on the site, bots and all. Who WAS that??? My man's was like, "IDGAF! Bring ALL da kitchens!" LOL

I think since I got OG Xbox, like 2003 or something. I believe I was still in school.

Long enough to remember Jackie Fang already there.

I remembered Jackie Fang because his avatar gif was super annoying , and I am a Jackie Chan fan, his earlier works at least.
 
Didn't Haskins turn out to be a guy? Or it was supposed to a guy with a female name, but it turned out to be female. Something. I know some people got trolled.

Dad was an interesting poster. Dam he must be half way through his fifties now because he was in his thirties back then as far as I remember.
Kofi was another cool one. Still have him my my friends list but I think Destiny 1 was the last time I played with him.
 
I feel like I was there near the start. I bought the OG Xbox 1 week after it launched. Started on IGN and Gamespot forums but found Team Xbox not long after. Don’t remember the exact year which is why I haven’t voted yet. I took a long break from gaming (outside of a few sports games) and gaming forums from about early 2009 until 2013. It’s why I’m a backwards compat guy.

Miss those Team Xbox days. Forums were jumping back then.

Question...if it even possible to bring the Teamxbox name back? I wonder what would happen to the traffic if it did. With Microsoft rebooting and gaining some positivity going into next gen, now could be as good a time as any.

As far as Andy's question, I think I was at TXB from the start, or damn near.
