I didn't realize, but there will be two PSX's this year, one in Kuala Lampur on August 5th, then another in the US, December 9-10. The former is the first PSX in Asia.

I'm not expecting any surprises from the Asian PSX, but you never know. It's in about 3 weeks.

got a question that I'm too lazy to do a search n maybe it's been answered...yep. It's something that's been lingering on my mind that I keep forgetting to ask, anyways.

Is it me or did Sony recycle the menu sound clips for the PS4 that Polyphony used for for their first few GT games/menus? Maybe with a hint of Flow too.

It just sounds way too familiar.

Played a couple hours of No Man's Sky and quite enjoyed it so far. Got Diablo 3 and Elder Scrolls Online dling since I already owned them. Also need to get Uncharted 4 installed and try it. So many choices!:crazy:

They should, but they won't. Evil Sony will always find a way to sell us games we already own to make money. I mean, they're struggling just to stay above water apparently so whatever. In Sony we trust. But yeah, a PS1/PS2 mini would be absolutely amazing.
 
I'm playing through Until Dawn since it was a freebie. Game is fun, I keep wanting to see what happens next, so the play sessions get a little long.
 
I was looking at games for August, which seems like a somewhat slow period (until I looked at the list, anyhow). I came across two games I wasn't aware of, that some others might be interested in:

The Last Day of June (Aug. 31)

"The adventure puzzle game tells the story of a couple, named Carl and June, who go through unimaginable loss."

Kerosene31, I found this tidbit kind of cool: "Guarini based the game on a Steven Wilson song called ”Drive Home”, and Wilson himself is participating in the project."


Pillars of Eternity (8/29)

This is an isometric RPG from Obsidian that got great reviews on PC. It's in the classic mold of games like Baldur's Gate.

I was definitely right when I said a few months ago that they have made an effort to improve the Plus lineups (on the PS4 at least)

WTF, Freedom Cry? How many AC's are there?????
 
So, question for you PS vets. I get home and my internet and tv is completely out. I fire up my PS4 and try to play a downloaded game, and can't. I only tried one game but it would not work until my connection came back. Now I originally bought it on my original PS4, but now play on my Pro. I did set the new console to be my "active" one or whatever you have to do to make sure your latest console is the right one.

Not a big deal but just wondering if this is normal? My internet hasn't gone down in ages but of course was down today for 6+ hours (fortunately I wasn't home for most).

Did you re-download the game, once you got your Pro? If not, that would be the explanation.

If you did, I'm not sure what's going on. You should be able to play all downloaded content while offline (unless it's like ESO or something that requires a connection).
 
I just picked up God of War III remastered, The order 1886 and Heavy rain for £29.....great deals right now on PSN.

PSN has Doom on sale for $15 so I picked it up. I read its campaign is awesome. We are getting Just Cause 3 as a freebie next week and I'm looking forward to its mindless destruction.

Every time I think I'm catching up on my backlog I add a couple more games to it. :crazy:

It sounds like your console isn't set to primary. Is there a lock symbol on one of the lower corners of the game icon?

It is now for sure. However my only thought is that maybe I downloaded before doing that?
