Pyre is out. It's the new game from Supergiant, who did Bastion and Transistor. Didn't even realize it was coming out. Too many games to keep track of.

And it's another solid one. 86 on Metacritic.

Yeah I definitely did because I gave it to someone. Maybe it was just the game. Not a big deal really as I could have tethered my phone if needed. This was the first time my internet was down in forever.

I definitely remembering deactivating the old one when I moved on. I remember going though the instructions.
 
Idk then. Everything works on my Pro after making it the primary and then disabling my old PS4. I'm out of ideas.
 
Is it normal to get so much message spam? I'm not even online but am getting spammed with random messages like "hey" (I assume some bot or something). Heck I'm new to PS and only have 2 real friends from this site and a couple people I play Destiny with but that's it.

I've been playing mostly my single player backlog lately and not even hitting the popular online games.
 
What a year for games. I thought the bombast on PS4 would dry up by June or July, but no. And now August is full of new games I want to play, too. Damn. The games just keep coming, keep piling up.
 
Sinner is a game for the PS4, made by Chinese developer, Darkstar. It was announced Sony's ChinaJoy show. It's basically a Chinese knock-off of Dark Souls.

 
PS4 is beginning to get the diversity of games that made the PS2 so great.
 
anybody have any issues with remote play? I have my 5G router just one room over (with hollow walls mind you) and lately I have a hard time staying connected its all choppy and crap and the 'about to loose signal/disconnect' icon pops up on my laptop. I have no issues when playing PS4 over the same wi fi on my TV or when I hook it up to the 50" in the living room one floor down. Any suggestions would be helpful (PS4 Pro by the way, and I have win 10 on my laptop).

It's best to have all wired connections if possible. The only way I can use remote play wirelessly is with my Vita no more than 20 feet away. I can't get decent playback on my laptop at all unless I'm using wired connections.
 
well I fixed the issue I uninstalled the app from my laptop and re installed it works like a champ now. and until the other day I NEVER had any issues it always played flawlessly and my router is about 30 feet away in the next room but it is very good router I get good strength even if I am a floor below it only looses it's power when I am outside the house like on my front porch etc.

I have a $10 pos router given to me by Dishnet, so idk if a better router would benefit me or not regarding remote play.
 
mine is through my cable company it is built in with the modem. had it for a few months and I really like it the speed is always been good

that is on wi fi I have not done a speed test on my PC since I got the modem/router combo from Spectrum

No doubt. People wonder why PS consoles do so well. It's because of the absolute ridiculous amount of random games that might not sell 10 million copies in 24 hours like GTA and Call of Duty but add them all together and you get your answer. Lately i've been researching the hidden gems across PS2 and PS3 that i missed out on.
 
I've seen a lot of PS3 games I missed out on at dirt cheap prices, but I never buy them. I can't bring myself to play a lot of the older games. I have a launch day 60gb console that sounds like a hair dryer after 15 minutes, and I'm afraid I'll end up killing it.

So... is it just swimsuits? wtf? Are there new levels?
 
I wish my mom would get that for me.

I think they've only added a couple of new stages since release, and they aren't anything special.

Just swimsuits and costumes, as far as I can tell. It's funny that people are willing to pay $75 (or $92 previously) for that. As the article author says, we can joke about it, but Tecmo is laughing all the way to the bank.

Maybe this can be a way of monetizing SP games. Aloy gets beachwear, a thong for Kratos...

I'd be more than happy to give them money if they'd release upgraded stages from past games. I don't give a fudge about their Santa costumes and silly bikinis and stuff.
 
I guess they're skipping Gamescom. So the remaining shows should be PGW, TGS, and PSX.
