PS4 needs a Demons Souls remaster

Well, we know Bluepoint is working on a new remaster of something, so who knows.
 



This was bold by them considering all the other popular games released that year and the Uncharted 2 bandwagon everyone was riding.
 
Yup. One of the PS3 games that you could say, yeah i see you 360 and Wii but i'm fine where i'm at. Demon's Souls was incredible and a staple in video game history much like Metroid and Castlevania. You got Metroidvania and then you got the Souls games. Would love a remaster.

It was the game that made me start favoring PlayStation exclusives over the Xbox.

Are there any games like Dark Souls or Demon souls with easy difficulty options?
 
"The PlayStation exclusive will be ”completely rebuilt from the ground up.” It will also allow players to swap into graphics modes for either fidelity or frame rate."

Yeah the graphics mode will have ray tracing, I don't know if it's only for the shadows or other elements as well. Nice they are offering the option for frame rate for those that want it. All I've ever heard about these games is that they are hard, I like the look but I don't want to play something that requires constant restarts all time lol. The Bluepoint people have said in the past that they'll have more freedom with this project (I'm assuming it's this one unless they are doing 2) so it may not be exactly the same as the original, they may make some improvements.

Is it hard because they let you die easily and because there aren't enough save points or is it hard because you have to figure out how to beat something?
 
Will this work on the standard PS4? I never played the original and have always been hoping for a remaster.
