Looks like my patience is about to pay off. Then again, i should have never bought a slim knowing i'd get the itch to get a Pro eventually. Going to take advantage of this deal soon.

I'm waiting for the PS5 PRO... That's what these mid-Gen systems have taught me.

No more being an initial buyer... It's like all these GoTY/Gold/Complete editions of games has me waiting to buy once they get to $30 instead of the regular bare bones versions at $60
 
Loving the Pro life, although I switched from a lifetime of the Xbox so I have the biggest back log you could imagine (working my way through Uncharted 2 right now); I'm absolutely loving this console!

The controller is superb (once you adapt......this was difficult at first and I didn't think I was going to feel at home on this pad but it's on the same level as the XB1 pad and I actually prefer it)!

Props to Sony for focusing on the games the success of the console is a credit to this value!

The Last of us 2, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, Death Stranding, God of War, Spider Man to name a few I'm looking forward to as well as the backlog I'm working through!

1080p Pro owner as well here lol...eyeing the Sony 900E as my first 4K set...just waiting for it to lower in price a bit,still close to 2000(CAD) with tax up here.

I like my pro's CB rendering on a TV set, but I really like this.

Without a 4K TV? No. I hear there are some differences in games but not sure. I know Battlefield 1 multiplayer runs at 10-15fps more on the Pro. Funny, like the day after i buy a Pro that DF comparison of Shadow of War on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro comes out and they called the Pro's textures soupy. I'm fine with that, i love soup. Had some chicken noodle for lunch today actually.

I more or less bought the console because i was sick of looking at the slim. Decent looking console, that does the job but it had to go. Had to trade in the burnt toast for the triple decker and at $75 off? Easy choice. Will get the 4K TV soon enough but my priority is on getting a Switch next. With Mario out Friday i might have to sooner than later. What a time to be a gamer.
 
Traded in my OG PS4 for a Pro (a good deal was going).

1080p tv owner still so mostly in it for the performance boosts. Best thing I've noticed so far is being able to save videos in 1080p instead of 720p, the jump in quality is very noticeable.

PS4 Pro = $400
Xbox One X = $500

You are getting 40% more power for 25% price increase. Sounds like a good deal to me.

i dont know if it matters to you, but biggest advantage of X for me is that it is quiet, where as pro goes in to jet mode whenever i play pro enhanced games.

the X just feels more premium. But if you dont have normal ps4 then yeah pro is better as you wont miss out on great exclusives
 
I sold my ps4 so I don't have a console my friend works in Walmart he is getting me a 15 per cent discount cause he is a manager so the pro will even be cheaper for me

Pro is a solid console and the best way to play all the Sony exclusives. Significant boosts to a lot of other games as well. And supersampling is great, even if (like me) you only have a 1080p TV.

I am jumping aboard the PS4 Pro train, I got the Xbox One X and my OCD kicked in telling my I needed the PS4 Pro to complete the collection.
