PS4 Pro new boost mode tested by DF

Good info but I really don't like that guys voice. Makes watching their videos hard
 
Man I gotta say, having pro with PSVR is really satisfying, we get all the best exclusives enhanced, best mutliplatforms by a long shot, and exclusive VR games. Sony has really impressed me. The upgrade cost me less than $200 too.

Finally a reason to get a PS4 Pro even without a 4K TV. I had faith that Sony would get it right. Boost mode should be great.

I know. I am officially out of space on my 1TB drive on my Pro. I got a nice 2TB external from Amazon cheap and ready to go.

Just waiting for the final release of the update. I had to uninstall 2 games last night in order to get Horizon on there plus I reinstalled Division.

By the way, make sure to actually enable Boost Mode in the system settings, it was off on my Pro by default.
 
Maybe we will get a boost mode for PS Pro games to get to 4K? :)
 
I've only tried AC Unity so far, and it runs much smoother. Especially while fighting several dudes at once.
 
The majority of games on Xbox One are 1080p anyway.
 
I take it you need a TV that can support his boost mode or does any 4K tv support Boost mode, these are things I need to know when I get my new TV set so I can FULLY enjoy my Pro.
 
Boost mode works on any tv, any resolution, and with any game that doesn't have a Pro enabled patch.
