Sony sent their peeps over to assist with the porting for these Xbox games which helped bring console visuals closer to maximum settings of PC just like the majority of PS studios games when compared to their PC counterparts. More par for the course really 😉

Maybe the secret sauce is Playstation's API because there is still only one set SKU that the devs can focus on.

Honestly, this isn't very far fetched even though all of your posts are fanboy trolling.

I think their graphics API and tools are simply better/more efficient than DX that Microsoft is using. I feel like this would explain a lot of the 20% weaker hardware of the PS5 performing/looking better in some multiplat titles leaving people, including DF baffled why that's the case.

This was well reported back in the first year of launch. Although XSX has the slight overall power edge , the two different Xbox SKUs optimizations and the fact devs said this was the easiest PlayStation to develop for means that theoretically, devs would be able to develop closer to the metal.

Also the two premium consoles have their pros and cons against each other plus different game engines means sometimes some games run bette on DX , other times not as much.
