Hopefully they send me an Xbox One invite, those f***ers get to play all the time.

Anyone in the alpha, its wide open on both platforms, crossplatform.. until the 27th.

Finally played the game for about 15 minutes the other day, even though I have been on the alpha for months. I think I need to spend more than 15 minutes with the game, but those 15 minutes were pretty boring.

Sea of Thieves will launch with an optional 540p mode and 15fps lock

We've actually added a 540p mode, so you can go below HD. We've also added a 15 fps framerate lock because when we were talking to the community some people were like: I'm actually happy playing 15 frames per second. We were like: that's actually really cool, we should support that. And to them go to them and say, oh, we've added that mode for you—it's below our Rare certified min spec, but if you're enjoying the game, why should we as developers knock you for that?"

Say what. :txbconfused:

Keep getting stupid weekly updates, but never an invite. Boo.

I thought XBO branch was just working off of a routine weekly schedule with no more invites?

Sea of Thieves testing days are switching from Wednesdays to Saturdays and it'll run 24hrs, weekly.

I finally got in this time!

Anyone here playing this round..? Looks like it’s 10/13-10/16.

Finally got a chance to play this....I like it! It needs work but there is huge potential.

They talk a bit more about the small boats and the voting system for the brig.

I love what they're doing with the game. It's going to be exciting to see where they take this and what they add to it, even a year after its launch.

I think this game has officially lost me. Not that there is anything wrong with it. On the contrary it looks awesome. But I have zero time to multiplayer games anymore as I have got older. I used to live and breath multiplayer. And now, other than Destiny...which I can play without actually having to do matchmaking, I haven't bothered with multiplayer in nearly 2 years. With not enough time to play means not enough time to be good at the game online to do well or to support a team. I would be level 2 for like 6 months while everyone else is level 100 or whatever.

I am keeping on eye on this game, just because. Though I just can't see it fitting into my current gaming lifestyle.
