The guy in the video talks about there being offline content, if it's an MMO. Is it like Destiny? Can you play it by yourself? He doesn't think there will be a singleplayer experience.
So Rare retweeted this. Rare isn't confirming anything though. But i find it interesting he retweeted it though. I am starting to become quite interested in this game. When it was revealed at E3, there was still this bit of disppointment in me, so to speak, that Banjo-Kazooie 4 was not a thing, but this could turn out very nicely. Anyway, watch the video and share your thoughts.

I didn't realize this game could be always online. Excitement level dropped by many levels as I wanna be a pirate but not be pirated of me gold by some 10 year old that plays 24/7.
I'm willing to bet that everyone has their own "lair/safe haven/harbor" where they can keep their treasures hidden without fear of being robbed.
I suspect that it will be very multiplayer focused, with emphasis being placed on forming crews and pirating together. Obviously treasure hunting, exploring the open seas, fighting fantastical creatures, and raiding other crews' ships will be part of the package.
The concept is really cool and god..i love how the sea looks. Everything else is up in the air. Will the combat be fun? That;s something that is very important, is it only first person? What kind of quests can we expect? Is it a big open world with NPC's? To what other games could we compare it? Oh so many questions.
Would be very cool if the instituted some sort of clan multiplayer where you risk some of your loot against other online clans in ship vs ship battles. I'm sure they could come up with some sort of mode like that.

Halo 5 will deliver on the SP campaign. Quantum Break? Scalebound? Although, I have a feeling that Scalebound will have a strong co-op influence. Re-Core? Cuphead? Below? Inside? Gears Ultimate's remastered campaign?
Sure, but still. I will always be more SP focused. Lol, I don't have time to play games on one system, let alone two!
The more i see of Sea of Thieves the more excited i get. I have a feeling Rare has a gem on their hands.

Highly unlikely. They've been working on this concept for a long time and the buzz coming from Rare about this project is enormous.
