Most games I can go through the motions with little aggravation, but the one game that sticks out lately as something that pisses me off..... BUT I'm going to keep dabbling with it...... is that recent indie game on XBL called Volgarr. If you haven't played it yet, it's free on X1 GWG. It's an old school sidescrolling slasher like Rastan. You die in a few hits. Like Ghost and Goblins you get one free hit (lose your shield), then one more hit and you're dead.

Lots of old school simplistic controls and cheap enemies jumping around like a game from 1986.

BUT, I'm going to keep forging ahead.

I haven't really played any games like this lately. The closest thing would have to be Alien Isolation. It's not frustrating really, but there is definitely a level of stress that makes you question if you're up for another round of it. I'm glad I continue to make my way through it though because it just keeps getting better and better.

Ninja Gaiden : Yaibia. Felt good to finish that game.

Totally agree with this. There were nights I thought I might never finish it, but I always crawled back for more, and was always glad I did! It's not an easy game, even on "Easy", but it is great.
