Oh, Ok. I thought there was another new R* game that I had missed.

Well, in case you missed, Rockstar mentioned something about story DLC of GTA5 in Social Club news as well. Not sure if it's Lost and Damned or The Ballad of Gay Tony big, but it's coming, so hopefully it will be included in the new versions.

I did miss. Would be great if it was that big. Although, I still have finished up the vanilla story. Have barely played it for ages and have tons to do still outside the story.

If this happens and I still don't have next-gen, this game'd make me get one...

I'd love it. Not to put a damper on things, but this is a prediction by an equity research firm, not any kind of announcement.

Lets be honest, it is going to get made. The only real prediction here is the 2014 date. RDR was a massive game on console, and the PC crowd begged for it. This is not a question of if it gets made, but a question of when will it be made.

RDR is my favorite game of last gen easily. Very excited to see what R* can do with this next one.

Yeah, there's that lingering rumor that Rockstar saw how well the Xbox One/PS4 sold & they will port GTA5 over. Who knows if it's true or not, it's been brought up tons of time, clear back before the game even shipped even.

This would make my year as far as gaming is concerned. I loved both Red Dead games and can't wait for the next one!

You'd think the announcements will be in the near future as they've got nothing announced for 2014 or beyond yet, they'll need a few months to hype things up before release for a new game. I'd assume they could announce a GTA V next-gen/PC release only one or two months before it releases.

red dead 3, aw ya. Though knowing Rockstar, will be 2015.

I would sell everybody on this forum into slavery to make this happen!
I loved this game on the 360! PLLLEASSSEEE!!!

1080p/60fps with mods! Rockstar can take my money already.

A listing of Red Dead Redemption has been found in a database maintained by Microsoft to help in determining application compatibility with its various operating systems.

The listing was discovered by a GAFer today and it shows the cover of the game with various compatibility statuses for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.

Reading the FAQ of the database, it appears that in order for a product to be deemed compatible, Microsoft considers several aspects such as the product passing the Windows certification requirements and receiving a logo, something which appears to apply to Red Dead Redemption in this case.

Back in July of last year, Rockstar was hiring a graphics programmer to bring its latest titles to the PC platform, despite the official word from Take-Two and Rockstar since the game’s release being that neither of them have any plans for a PC version.

RDR > GTA 5.
There I said it and stand by it.

Yes. I would also sell everyone on this forum and the entire internet into slavery for this to happen. I've played pretty much every GTA game but only every finished GTA 3. But RDR? I think I played through the story like 5 times on various accounts and the MP was actually quite fun.

So if I could play this in 1080p/60fps with mods, especially graphical mods I would EASILY and HAPPILY pay full price, even though the game is years old.

MP was awesome! Tying up people rodeo style then dragging them!
Full.Of.Win.

Would love it to happen, but I seriously doubt it will. Has been 4 years since the game first released, if it was coming, it would have came by now. This is just another Half-Life 3; People want it so much they cling to every tiny possibility.

Hope rekindled for Red Dead Redemption 2 - Take-Two demands "incredible quality

http://www.totalxbox.com/77146/hope...mption-2-take-two-demands-incredible-quality/

"It seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise."

Now just hold hard there, pardner. Pull in your horns. Red Dead Redemption 2 sounds like it's a-coming, but assuming this here Strauss Zelnick of Take-Two Interactive isn't spinning us a yarn, it's a fair ways over the horizon.
Red Dead is one of Take-Two's "permanent" franchises, according to Zelnick. How does one create a "permanent" Take-Two franchise? By letting the developers take their time to achieve the best results. "The risk of just [releasing more games] is that you end up just bulking up your release schedule and that isn't really what consumers want," Zelnick observed during an analyst conference attended by Gamespot.
Zoom
"Consumers want better, not more," he continued. "So our selective approach, which we've taken since '07 I think has paid off. Now, we have gotten more by taking that approach; we've launched one new successful franchise every year and I would like to keep doing that particularly because I talk about permanent franchises, but not everything is going to be a permanent franchise. Some of our great franchises eventually will lose their lustre and some will hopefully be permanent.

"I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent," he added, teasingly. "It's obvious that GTA is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise, again with the same caveat, or Borderlands, for example, and NBA and others.
"But not everything is going to be a permanent franchise. We can do very well even if it's not. I would like to see us grow with a couple more great franchises in the next couple years and we're launching Evolve; we have very high hopes for that."
Rockstar has repeatedly assured Red Dead fans that the IP has a future over the past few years, but has declined to commit to a name, date or release platform

Take-Two CEO Confirms Red Dead And BioShock Games Are Planned
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/...-red-dead-and-bioshock-games-are-planned.aspx

He also affirmed the company's commitment to BioShock, a series that's future has been a bit more hazy since the closing of Irrational Games, the studio that created the franchise.
Zelnick said, "We haven't given any color on how you should think about it yet except we do believe it's beloved; we think it's important [and] certainly something that we're focused on; something 2K Marin will be responsible for shepherding going forward. I don't want to say much else except to agree with you. I think there's a lot of upside in that franchise."

Bioshock without Irrational and Ken could potentially be a very bad thing.

Although I still fell Bioshock 2 was a great game, it still paled in comparison to Bioshock 1 in all but combat.

Still, it's nice to see it will continue as it's one of my top 5 IPs from last gen.

Speaking of Bioshock, I was really hoping there would be a X1/PS4 version of Infinite with all the DLC added. Wonder if that could potentially still happen?. I would also love to see a System Shock 3. Don't think that would happen without Ken though.

More excited about a new Bioshock than Red Dead 2. Really interested in seeing where they take the story from here.

Nice, are interested in both a new Red Dead Redemption and a new Bioshock :) .

The evidence for Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to mount. The latest tease came today as part of Rockstar Games' "Asked & Answered" feature, wherein the developer said it is happy to see continued excitement over its Western franchise years after its release. Though the company isn't ready yet to officially talk about a sequel, the developer told fans to "stay tuned" in 2015 for potential news.

I don't even need to see it...
