I don't think they're one of those developers that you goto for an economic game.Over 3 million copies sold you would think someone would think there is enough value to publish. If MS had a do over I bet they would have gone with AW 2 over QB.

They'd have found a way to throw millions of dollars around unnecessarily. (Again... SHAWN ASHMORE?!? He is to acting as Demi Moore is to youth.)
Microsoft normally cuts off expensive developers, so I'm surprised their relationship lasted.

Most sales came when it was super cheap sadly
AW2? Hmmm.... not sure about that. It may have sold millions, but I think a lot of those copies were freebies and bargain bin sales.
I don't think this game sold a ton at $60..... I might be wrong though.
Quantum Break is roughly half indie given its production values. Gamers even caught the developer using a FRAPS trial to record the last 30 seconds of the game's cutscenes.
Meaning they were so cheap they couldn't afford to buy the full version. Why is this bad? Genuine question.

I honestly never understood why QB didn't sell well. Then again, I do and don't. It's was super genius on many levels. Quite unlike anything I've ever played. Looked great, game play was amazing, story was probably the best story in a video game I've come across in a long while. I think a lot of the hate stems from the fact that it was on Xbox - first and foremost. The negativity towards all things Microsoft from journalists and gamers alike. No doubt there was a very solid platform to launch a franchise from. I sincerely hope MS launches another QB seeing as they own it. The Coalition or 343i would do wonders to a title like this. Hell, if they'd just add QB, Ryse and Recore to the fray, Microsoft would have one hell of an arsenal within their game portfolio. Just MO
Wait, wha?!? Microsoft games sell well now? I'm confused..Then why do other MS games sell well? And why didn't it sell well on Steam?
Wait, wha?!? Microsoft games sell well now? I'm confused..
Microsoft games would sell better, but first Microsoft must sell more than five million consoles. Yes, Microsoft had only sold five million and not a single unit more. And you can't call me a liar until Microsoft proves me wrong and announces otherwise.Wait, wha?!? Microsoft games sell well now? I'm confused..

I don't understand why you think peer reviewing is an insult. All facts are peer reviewed in some form or fashion. Otherwise they aren't fact at all.Nice try, but Microsoft announcing it won't mean anything since it's not peer-reviewed.
I can kinda understand why a deal with MS didn't happen again right away. AW sadly wasnt a huge success and neither was QB
I can kinda understand why a deal with MS didn't happen again right away. AW sadly wasnt a huge success and neither was QB and as talented as this developer is they take a long long time to make things.
But one thing I am puzzled about. What is going on with Alan Wake 2? We know that Remedy has been dying to make it ever since QB was announced. Later on in a interview MS was asked about Alan Wake 2 and they said it's up to Remedy, that they have to want to make it. Which made it sound like MS was interested but Remedy not anymore?
