the 360 had several resolutions you could select from. From what I heard, X1 only has 720p and 1080p. Is that true?

That's what the support page said at least. I am hoping like crazy it turns out to be false because my TV only does 1080i and 480p, but I am not exactly optimistic. We're just going to have to move up the plans to get a new bedroom TV 'til Black Friday and use that in the living room until we decide on getting a new primary set.
