PSVR title in the Top 10; that's unusual.

I'm surprised at that Monster Hunter World number. I didn't think it would make that big of a splash. I hope those will all sell through.

p.s. Heard Xbox got 28% of first-week sales in the UK.

I'm not. It had little competition. I imagine it will be low down next week, though.

Dragon Ball was 77% PS4

That is pretty sad for Xbox owners.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 sales miss targets, EA blames loot crate controversy

Sales of Star Wars Battlefront 2 fell short of Electronic Arts’ expectations, and the publisher is citing the furor over the game’s microtransactions as the primary explanation, reports the Wall Street Journal.

EA sold about 9 million copies of Battlefront 2 during the three-month period from October-December 2017, the third quarter of EA’s 2018 fiscal year, according to the Wall Street Journal. (The game launched almost exactly halfway through the quarter, on Nov. 17, 2017.) That was about 1 million fewer than the 10 million copies that EA had expected to sell, the newspaper reports.

Blake Jorgensen, the company’s chief financial officer, told the Wall Street Journal that the publisher’s guidance calls for sales of another 1 million to 3 million copies by the fiscal year’s conclusion at the end of March. The higher end of that estimate would still put Battlefront 2 behind its predecessor — EA shipped more than 14 million units of the original Star Wars Battlefront in its 2016 fiscal year.

I'm getting tired of hearing about GTA and CoD.

Some numbers from Capcom (LTD):

RE7 - 4.8 million units
SFV - 2 million units
DD: DA - 2 million units
RE6 (PS4/Xbox etc) - 1.3 million units
RE4 - (PS4/Xbox etc) - 1.1 million units
Dead Rising 4 - 1 million units

Just saying "this is no fun," "meh" and "I find it boring" doesn't contribute anything. Sticking around doesn't make much sense, either. If you don't find it interesting, go talk about something you do find interesting.

Good one. You really showed me.

It's crazy to think by the end of it's 5th full year on the market the PS4 could outsell what the 360 did in eight years or what the PS3 did in seven.
