Seems like everyone forgot.

Didn't see anything on tv about today. Though for sure I would see more than the typical lip service done by political parties.
God help us. At least the New tower is looking good.

There was nothing but reliving 9/11 this morning on the news network. I actually turned it off because I can remember it well enough without being reminded with video. And if God was going to help us, he could've got off his ass at about 9am 9/11/01.

Don't watch a lot of tv in the morning. Didn't see anything tonight.

A warning if we didn't change. Which we have not. It could of been a whole lot worse. If our fellow citizens had not acted, and helped each other that day.
On this subject we will have to agree to disagree. I will not be posting anything else about this. God was watching over us, and I hope no matter how off track we get he doesn't take his eye off of us

I'll never forget what I was doing that day. I was in a rush to get to school on time. Inhaling cereal, seeing something about a burning building on tv. I get to class and I get to my 1st period room and there I realize what is going on. 5 minutes later the intercom came on. We did nothing that entire day in every class I was in but watch the news.

I remember it because I was really worn out dragging myself in to work that morning because my wife (then fiancee) and I didn't get home until 1am. The reason for that - we were stuck in the Charlotte airport waiting to get on a plane that turned out to have been overbooked and we almost got bumped off. It still amazes me to think that the inconvenience and worry of waiting to get on a plane that seemed so big to us then would be put into perspective so forcefully the next day.

History channel had camera footage from non-news folks. Watched a bit of it, but for like a few minutes. Terrible day, don't get me wrong, but damn, they had to kill so much of TV? Thankfully Nickelodeon didn't give in to the terrorists at the time! Their ratings must've been astronomical!

I remember a lady, who made it to the ground floor and out, just as the second tower pancaked, and she was engulfed in the cloud of ejecta, smoke, dust and debris. Then, like a ghostly wraith, newly fled from a hideous apocalypse, she lunged out of the cloud, bedraggled, begrimed and without her shoes--she had run out of them. Her eyes were wide open, shock writ large up on her face, her mouth uttering the same words over and over again: "I thought I was dead".
