Shadow of the Colossus

I just started the game tonight, and the floating camera nonsense on the horse is angering me quite a bit. Not sure why the f they thought this was a good idea, but it's making me quite sick. I had to turn the game off and lay on the floor after getting past the first colossus. The horse controls are still garbage and are anything but modern.

I'd think it was worth $20. I should pick one up myself.
 
This is a pretty game and I really wanted to like it but I just couldn't get over the antiquated gameplay issues that should have been updated. I don't get the fixation with "keeping true to the original" if the product you are remaking was flawed. They could have easily fixed this game but decided not to and that's a shame, if they'd rework a few things it would be far more enjoyable, I played it for a while but never finished it and I doubt I will.
 
I stopped after going on the search for the 8th Colossus and haven't played since.
 
Working on number 5 now after a year break. Controls still suck but I am going to finish this!
