Shazam! Fury of the Gods

No official photos yet but it's filming in Toronto so lots of leaks coming

A 14-year-old boy named Billy Batson is granted the powers of six ancient heroes by a dying wizard, which he activates by saying the wizard's name, "Shazam!" Upon doing so, he is transformed by a magic lightning bolt into an adult superhero. Each of the ancient heroes' initials are represented by the letters in the word: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury.

While Billy at first revels in the joy of being a hero - albeit one who still has a teenager's mind - he is forced into serious action in order to battle the evil Doctor Sivana. On Billy's side is his foster brother and best friend Freddy Freeman, a superhero enthusiast who helps both train Billy and keep Billy's secret

Djimon Hounsou will play the wizard who gives Billy Batson his powers.

Black Adam to start filming end of next year according to Dwayne Johnson

Looks like fun, the suit still looks really fake but it kind of adds to the charm lol.

As far as Black Adam I'm kind of against The Rock playing him now, I'd rather that part went to someone who looked more like they were from the Middle East which is where that character is from. The Rock is kind of over exposed right now anyway and I think people are sort of getting tired of seeing him in a new movie every two or three months.

I heard the idea about this movie awhile back. It looks entertaining I just don’t like the suit and stupid looking cape.

I miss Chuck lol...this looks like fun, glad to see him back in something.

I remember watching repeats of that show when I was a kid, they usually played them during the summer.

As far as the new movie I really like Levi playing the part but I wish the younger Billy would be as goofy and not act like the cool kid, their personalities don't match.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's (Asher Angel) case, by shouting only one word -- SHAZAM! -- this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard (Djimon Hounsou). Still a kid at heart -- inside a ripped, godlike body -- Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he'll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong).

Good biceps, okay delts, meh everything else. Cred for showing his body like this though, can't say many of these actors having that much guts with exception of beautiful Hemsworth and Huge Jackman. Others show altered and/or carefully selected staged pics at best.

He's made a lot of progress, he used to be kind of a skinny/fat build if I remember correctly.

Sure, but he's going to play a superhero, so in that regard I'm not impressed. Good for him not being as skinny fat as before though.

Yeah he wasn't given a lot of time from when he was hired to when they started filming so he's done a good job, it's not like he started out as an athletic guy. The most iconic actor to play a superhero ever is Christopher Reeve and he was just tall and lean.
