Were they homosexual before they went in?
Whenever they chose to give in to those desires. Who knows?Maybe a jail setting (helpless individuals)allows those burning desires to come out.

Chose is in my post.
Having "desires" is not a choice. That's a chemical reaction. You're saying that they're homosexuals because of who they are. In your case, who they are is who God made them to be.

Not according to the word of God.
They gave in to burning desires.
I give 2 s***s what unsaved scientists try and claim.

It's either one or the other. Either God made them homosexuals, or it was a choice to become homosexual. If it's a desire, that is there from birth, given by God. Can't have a desire without God putting said desire inside of people.

WE ALL get tempted by sin by the god(temporary) of this world.
The most high doesn't temp people.

The only takeaway from that discussion is that It sounds like Val has a desire for penis that he is resisting

You just said god temps people and then you said he doesn't tempt people. Which is it? Did god make people gay from birth or did god trick people into being gay later on?

I thought God was the one and only. Now another one exists?

This is why I tend not to get along with deeply religious people. I often get told, "You ask too many questions!".

I respond, "Maybe you aren't asking enough?". That usually ends the conversation/friendship/family gathering.

The important thing to remember is the US is made up of 350 million people, and that's only a small part of the world.

Expecting that many people to live in any kind of homogenized way is simply absurd. This goes for the religious right and the SJW left.

Oddly enough the SJW and religious have a lot in common. They want society to play by their narrow rules. We know what you want - and the answer is simple. "No".

We accept people are different and support individual freedoms. There is no other viable option.

Enlighten us to this multi-tierd god belief structure that teaches to fear/hate gay people, prophecizes that transgender people are the debil. You don't believe in Christianity. So, what's your "religion"?

Satan is the god of THIS world(for now)
Gods kingdom isn't of this world.

Who hates and fears homosexual people?

ALL people are sinners and fall short of the perfect God.
The issue is when we say sin isn't sin and call the unnatural, natural.

I am saved and reborn by believing/faith so believer is what i consider myself as its the foundation.

It falls in the Christian category but being ignorant enough to say all Christians are the same is like saying all Americans are the same with the same views etc cause they live here.

Then you got your belief that being a homosexual is unnatural because you take a book that is claimed to be the word of God as a literal word of God?

Romans 1:27-28

[27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient

Yes i believe the above./his word.

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. - Exodus 21:7-11

Well he thinks women should be subservient to men so I imagine he is down with slavery as well

This here reality;
Create life, teach it the right way according to oneself if there, life evolves to whatever it becomes (hopefully you swayed it in "right"direction), life lives, you die, life hopefully lives beyond that, life creates life, cycle continues.

Does this matter if no god/gods/afterlife?
I don't know...

Do old books give answers?
To some.

Are answers in books good?
Sometimes.

Do I follow books?
Not often.

What do I follow?
My moral compass and mortal love for mine, hopefully they remember me when I become stardust.

I'm sleepy now, but will finish my wine and watch the last hour of mummy returns, I'm really starting to become a fan of Brendan, he really got screwed by his ex wife.

The word has to be rightly divided.
If you don't have the holy spirit you will never understand it.
So you’re interpreting gods lieral word to suit your bias? God word is not open to interpretation. You’re taking gods word about homosexuals literally. But this, since it’s horriffic, it must means something else. Hypocrite much?
