Well with my son having no issues on his PC, and me not having any issues on my PC at work, I doubt it is a coincidence.
I agree, but there is a collection of people that refuse to believe games are exclusive if they are on something other than one specific console. I don't make the rules, but apparently they do.Oh ffs.
Flipping two heads with a coin is purely coincidence, but I'll check with tech support and find out why so many are having this issue.
1)But its not an opinion to say you can use PSnow and bypass PS3 entirely to play most of its most lauded exclusives. Or rather Timed Exclusives
2) Its really close to "almost all the best ones"though
3) Doesnt have to hold anything. You want to play the highest rated games froms Sony first party? You don't need a PlayStation anymore. Its just a fact.
4) The only thing to agree upon is PlayStation exclusives are now an endangered species and there's a much lower bar to access them compared to Switch and Xbone which require high end PCs. In a way, PlayStation Now makes them even less exclusive

Xbone hit 1000 games before the PS4 hit 800. I suspect it will be the first console console this generation to reach 1500 games (this year). Or Scorpio which will be first to hit 3000
Not so much. Theres almost 500 PS3 games on the service in less that 3 years. And that was in the PS3s eight year. The PS4 is in its 4th. By the PS4s 11th year it will be be well over 500.
You aren't selling your case though. You can buy a high PC rig or a several hundred dollar console vs. Play them for free on even ultra low end PC and some tablets you may already own.
At this stage, it's just easier to assume every Sony first party game will make the leap, that way fans wont look foolish when they do as they have when they claimed PSnow would never run PS4 games

What kind of fanboy logic is this? Doesn't even matter which console has more games, as 95% of normal people will never play half a console's library during their lifetime. If you really want to have a contest on which brand has more games then i'll just say PS2 released a gem nearly ever week. PS consoles have much more to play overall.
Well if one console has several hundred more games than the other, it has more "exclusives" by default. (which these days doesn't mean what it used to mean, today it means "X game is on console A, B, Handheld C and PC D, but NOT CONSOLE E") It's just numbers. And maths and science.
Then again you can prove anything with facts.
Not with fewer games they don't. Generally thats how it works.

Your math is off. There are more PS games combined than there are Xbox games. We can leave PS1, PSP, and Vita out of it because Xbox wasn't even around then and doesn't have a handheld and Xbox still gets bludgeoned by the amount of releases there were on PS2 alone. PS3 had about the same amount of games as 360 and PS4 has more games than Xbox One.
Sorry, those 360 BC titles don't really count for anything. If Xbox gamers need to rely on playing old games because there aren't enough coming to X1 then they have bigger problems than winning a list war. If they do, then like i said we'll count PS1, PSP, and Vita and the PS ecosystem then crushes the Xbox ecosystem in terms of total games available.
Xbox 360 had almost 4500 games to PS3's 1600. As I understand it was larger than the PS3 and PS2 combined (but only just).
In 2013 it turned out Indie games counted again.
Xbox One almost 1000 to PS4's 700 is as of October last year.
I doubt you'll find that's agreed upon in practicality, but even so metacritic disagrees.
"Rely" is a funny word, because it doesn't feel that way. I find this especially funny given listwoz usually include late PS3 localisations like Tales and Persona. But i'd be happy to make comparisons with back-compat removed assuming this applies to PS4 as well. Less the Vita game ports, less the PSP game ports, less the PSOne game ports, less the PS3 game ports, less the PSP game ports less the Switch and Wii U ports. Less the PS4pro ports, which is everything. I should have led with that.

Honestly this is a little too defensive. Did anyone seriously think Sony ...cash strapped Sony, scraped together $400M to buy a company designed to run games on PC and then not put their games on it, that it would coast it's way to profit on PS3's leavings? because if they did......lol

Not even close, lol. If the 360 really had 3,000 more games then the PS3 then we'd hear about it. That's not even possible. If it does have that many games then none of them were even released. We talking about emulators and whatever now or what? Try harder.
Since we're getting desperate you might as well count Dreamcast and every bootleg game that was released for it as well since Xbox is the spiritual successor to the DC. Go ahead, i'll let you do whatever it takes to get on a level playing field. Cause it's Sony's world and we're just living in it.
Xbox 360 had 4500+ games? Dang. That seems a lot. Where are you getting that numbers from? Are you including BC titles? PS3 is backward compatabile with 99% PS1 games. If you have the original PS3 (20gb, 40gb, 60gb model), it's backward compatible with 99% PS1/PS2 games.

Oh it did. No one really cared about them nor brought them up in listwoz until our playstation overlords said they really really did count.
I haven't counted but i'd wager most are exclusive (in the old tongue) and new IP, it's distribution channel was also financed and run by Microsoft so technically it's all first party.

I get that you feel the need to rebel against PS fans and all that but come on man. It's a losing war. Xbox doesn't have more games than PlayStation. Xbox will never be a more necessary console to own than a PS console when maximizing your options, that's just the facts. If you enjoy your Xbox then that's all that matters but let's keep it real here.
I've been an Xbox gamer since day one and i've never seen anyone on my friends list play any of those games in that link. Nobody even knows they exist. Stallion83, the guy with 1.5 million gamerscore doesn't even know they exist. Got anything else or we done here?
The Xbox 360 is not 99% backward compatible with all original xbox games. Not only that, the 25% of original xbox games that are playable on the 360 are so buggy and glitchy.
