I'm excited for this. Hopefully I'm at my computer when they launch happens so I can watch it live. Below is the live feed. It will be live live in four hours. All systems, weather, etc., point to a go today thus far.

 
We have all these freaking channels on cable TV and nobody makes a thing out broadcasting an event like this. If I were in broadcasting, I'd very probably push stuff like that because it's cheap to cover, and you could bring in some talented commentators and color commentary and make it fun for everybody. This would be a lot cooler than most of the stuff they try to push on the Science Channel/Discovery Channel.
 
3:45PM ET now. Pretty sure launch window is only open until 4PM ffuuuuu

It's not on the Science Channel? Maybe only their Facebook page then...
 
Not sure why I have tears in my eyes. Just so excited. Excited for everybody that worked on this. Excited for the technological advance just took place.

Pretty sure I heard in the background audio they said it was off course. I don't see how it couldn't be anything but a success though.
