Looks alright. Kind of like an origin movie without the actual origin part...but am sure it will be in there somewhere.

I'm excited because it feels so different, finally. I'm glad Stark has a presence and the actor is actually younger. I just think that combining Spider-Man and the MCU is a much needed change. We got some in CA: Civil War, but I'm glad the Spider-Man movie represents that same chemistry. Also, web-wings!

Haven't seen Civil War yet so can't judge the character in that movie, but from the trailer alone I really like the new Peter. Costume looks pretty good as well. Not that it matters now but I should still check out Amazing Spider-Man 2 as I did enjoy the first.
 
Trailer didn't do much but SM was the best thing in civil war
 
not into it to much high school BS in the trailer. the spiderman bits looked good.

I saw/heard this the other day. I'm wondering if this is like a little revisit moment, or is that actually the main theme again? Seems a bit out of place, but then we don't truly know the tone of the film yet.

I think they really nailed it with the casting for this movie, Holland seems far more likeable than anyone who's played the part so far.

Marvel is stretching it too far trying connect Sony's Spidey with MCU eh? By the way, Vin Diesel just confirmed Groot was in Logan. :hehe:

Couple people on another forum I frequent said it was great. Best take on Peter Parker and one of the best villains in the MCU.

I can't wait to see this when I get a chance.
 
Seen it last night 2d best Spider-Man movie after Raimis Spider-Man 2. One of my favorite MCU movies though, and definitely one of the best villains in the MCU.
 
Was not impressed AT ALL. Not enough action for starters. Too childish. I hope they don't build off this one. The 2002 - 2007 Spiderman movies were night and day better.

Best thing about the movie were the cameo's.
 
Ouch! Spidey dives 62% on his 2nd weekend, yielding the number one spot to Apes. 62% drop is on par with Spider-Man 3 and Amazing Spider-Man 2, the two lowest rated Spider-Man movies.
