Oh good, I’ll have your expendable suicide squad backing me up!

I'm pretty reckless even with my favorite characters so it should be fun.

I wan't to try out co-op. But I'm still figuring out the little things of this game. Whatever character I use I seem to need a rest often which sucks because when your character isn't well rested their stamina plummets. My belief is I should be popping a stamina regen consumable every so often to either prevent or slow fatigue setting it. I haven't been able to test this yet because I kind of lose myself in this game and play for hours and I really can't do that tonight.

Fckn sucks......I want to play.

Even going after those plague hearts?

I've only done two of those so far, one was a mission with a character that wasn't part of my group and another I just stopped by and did it on my own, they aren't too bad. The only things I have a hard time with in this game at all are the juggernauts so I just avoid them.

Depending on the patch tomorrow, this could just be a case of needing to rethink their early access policy. It seems silly to have their game reviewed and commented on before their big day one patch is released. I don't know if the early access came with disclaimers about the state of the game, but gamers are so fickle why let negativity start. Especially why let game sites review a non-day one version of the game.

I also think we need to look at this game in the gamepass era. I mean it's obvious MS broke the game into three parts and it should grow over the year as content is added. That's why it is priced the way it is. Sea of Thieves is very similar in that the plan is to get the game out and continue to grow it. It's a paradigm shift as MS really wants to be digital, but for retail partner sake still is releasing physical games. Not entirely sold on the new model, but I waste 10$ on dumber stuff each month.

That si all good & fine, but in regards to Sea of Thieves they can't be releasing games with pretty much nothing in them. You need to make a full game and then expand it to keep the subscriptions going.

As for State of Decay, Yeah. It is silly to have early access and reviews without the day one poatch available, especially if that patch fixes most of the issues. But this is the era we live in now. Since the X360 games have started to release unfinished because they have the luxury of patching now.

Bolton has a personal mission but I have no idea what it is? and if I switch players it will abandon it

Really enjoying it so far. Got attacked by 2 Juggernauts but managed to escape, barely. Got jumped by some hostiles dubbed ''The Looters'' killed 3 of them--hostile humans are tough, but seems a bullet to the head sorts them out quick.

Just unlocked a new move called Grand Slam which is a spinning move and downs multiple zombies at once, very nice. This same person has specialised twice already and is very close to a third...who knew a lesbian would be the best survivor to have...well me, obviously, cause I picked her, lol.

Haven't run into any major issues either yet. My hud flickered a bit and ladders can be a bit precarious and require cautious small movements but other than that it has all been good.

Only slightly annoying graphical glitch is the line that occasionally appears when driving at night

Sadly there are still plenty of issues that haven't been patched yet, I'm glad you are enjoying the game though :) I'm having fun with it too even with it's issues I just wish it was better, this concept deserves so much more dev resources than it's getting.

It is a shame it doesn't have proper base building, like Fallout 4 had. That would be awesome in this game.

I finally moved to a bigger base which is a strip mall and the mood instantly went from cheerful to sad. So I instantly started building a few things. I didn't think of this but when I started building a few things simultaneously I made too much noise and now I'm constantly attracting hordes plus ferals. I can't stand ferals.

I cam across a place I want to move into but the influence cost is pretty big, 1500. I am nowhere near that, yet.

Where did you start? I didn’t do much past the intro. I started with a fenced house in the foothills. Have you tried co op yet?

Yeah, I have noticed on other forums, not many issues that people are running into. Resetera has a great thread for this game, and others have stated the same. Been working great for me to other than some trivial glitches here and there (same as I experience in any game really) I would love to join you in co-op. I MIGHT be on tonight actually, though I know we are a pond away from each other.

Glad that most people are enjoying the game that bought it.

Is the world shared and persistent?

It’s your instance of a world map. You can share with others by allowing Co-op. Any changes you make, like where you build your base, are persistent. Until pu decide to change it again.

Had a good run last night. Filled the truck with all rucksacks, but I'm out of storage. Ugghhh. Time to move. Does all the investments in one base carryover? I kinda held off on doing to much at the starter base, because I was going to move soon.

I started on the Plateau.

Haven't tried co-op yet.

Have you moved beyond having 4 people? I finished up with the quest to get the antidote for your friend. I had to go out and find a resource rucksack. But I couldn’t figure out how to move it out from my pack and into the inventory. I ended up breaking it apart by mistake.

You just walk into the room that has the rucksack hologram floating in the air and it takes it from your backpack automatically.

Ah ok. I think i was walking up to the inventory and trying to put it in there.

Yeah the place in at now cost me 3500 influence points. I shouldn't have to worry about storage now though.

I think I heard there's 1 starter base, 2 medium ones and 1 large one per map.

Not sure if this was posted already. If you change your game session to ‘Offline’ you can pause your game. I think you change it dynamically without having to restart. Then change it back when you want co op.

Just to be clear, I’m talking about an in game menu option and not the Xbox console settings.

That's what I understood and thank you for letting us know. It been quite a challenge to go to the bathroom while outside the safety of my base.
