Yeah, I hate the bloater..more than the juggernaut or feral. He can really f*** things up in tight spaces.

Yeah they can be annoying, especially when you don't see them and they are laying in the road. It's always nice right after you fix your car up all the way and fill the gas tank to be driving along and run over one of those things lol. They are satisfying to kill when you shoot them because they go up so easily, it just sucks if they are anywhere near you when they go off.

I hate the little f'ers that lay in the road. Ran over countless of them, especially at night.

I just got to day 24 and everyone is cheerful for a change. I think I'm in a great location and near a bunch of supplies. So far, I'm not worried about depleting them.

Ok I got this, and I’m enjoying it for the little I played so far. But the frame pacing is really bugging me.
Supposedly it’s a pretty solid 30 fps. But the character is so twitchy that turning around in houses is a pain. And it seems like the game chugs, even if it’s technically not.

Finished my first game and obtained the Sheriff Legacy. Little bummed that the NG+ doesn't let you change map. But I set up a new community in the Hills.

Did you choose the sheriff legacy?
The legacy you get is tied to the leader you put in place. If you look on the character details it does tell you somewhere, not sure if they need to be a 'hero' first or not, though. Another one in my community offered the trader legacy.

Oh ok. My leader says warlord. I'm assuming that's what I'd get.

It does chug, they didn't spend enough time with it at DF which is understandable because it's not the kind of game where everyone is going to get the exact same experience at the exact same places.

Do you eventually get a game over in this game without actually dying lol...I have 4 guys left, and about to lose one more soon...I guess your outpost gets attacked and destroyed or something if theres like 1 person left to defend or do you hang on forever in a hopeless cause forcing you to start a new community...? Killed my first bigger zombie yesterday with that skill that makes you jump on its back and stab the crap out of him hehe, that was cool.

Yes you do. I Just finished my first. In order to get a 'Game Over' you need to pick a leader, clear all Plague Hearts(on mine at least) and then complete the Legacy missions for your leader.

So having played a little on my new game on the Hills map, I have to say this feels kind of different. I am finding myself getting surrounded all the time and zombie population and activity seems to be more than Drucker County. Am also finding Medical Supplies harder to find. Map seems bigger too.

I like it.

I thought the same when I started the Valley. It feels totally different.

If there is anyone who thinks they messed up the mission for the rumrunners because they turned in the materials needed when they went back to get the blood plague cure you're ok. If you turned it in you can switch to another character which resets a current mission giving you another chance to get the materials and this time craft the cure but don't turn in the materials in your base. Go back and administer the cure and then give materials and you're all set. It took a while for me to figure out and I hope there are some benefits later on down the line.

I can't seem to find another survivor with a free slot to teach them the computer skill. Its driving me crazy.

Have you done your legacy missions too?

No, i have two communities on the go. I have the warlord selected though and I think i am about half way through the legacy stuff. My current goal is to move to the big base that costs 3500 influence so when i'm done with that I'll start on the warload legacy. I need to build that unique leader building for it next.

I’ve only run into one Juggernaut so far, and it doesn’t seem to have given me credit for taking it down.

Man, you set out to do 1 goal and you just get yourself in all sorts of trouble.

I think I'm going at this in a much slower pace, but really enjoying this game.

I know, right. You set out to get some fuel and end up on the other side the map fighting infestations or hostile enclaves....just to have a juggernaut show up and rip somebody apart.

Love it.

I swear that is true. I went out for medical supplies and ended up destroying my truck clearing infestations. I don't know if there is any other game like this on consoles.
