Super Luckys Tale

The basic mechanics to this game are decent. I’d rather they take SLT and turn it into a more inspired platforming IP using similar mechanics. Outside of the frustrating camera, the gameplay was pretty solid. Colors were nice. Nobody will ever give a **** about the main character though. Blinx was more inspired...and he wasn’t very inspired.

DLC released today

Welcome Back to Adventure!

"Super Lucky's Tale", the delightful playground platformer for all ages, returns with another thrilling chapter. Fresh from his victory over Jinx, Lucky is looking forward to a day off in good old Foxington. But the Book of Ages has other plans, and Lucky is once again pulled in, this time emerging into the tropical paradise of Gilly Island.

Despite its beauty and renown as an award-winning vacation spot, it's quickly apparent that something is amiss on Gilly Island. Lucky learns that Lady Meowmalade has hijacked the islands to throw the greatest (worst) party ever seen as she celebrates the release of her latest single. Now Lucky must rescue the islands and its vacationers from Meowmalade's chaos before it ruins their fun and ultimately wrecks havoc to all the worlds within the Book of Ages.

Join Lucky on his latest adventure, filled with classic platforming challenges, brain-bending puzzles, mysterious foxholes, and tropically treacherous obstacle courses. Meet characters new and old as you burrow your way through a sun-soaked paradise. May the luck of the clover guide your path!

DLC was short but fun and worth it's low price including a lovely little nod to...

Donkey Kong

I own this game but it's also on game pass. My son has played it a bit but it didn't grab him so I didn't go rushing to play it. I'll finally give it a go when I'm done with Mad Max and Rime.

What the hell with this game...like the second level in,it gets real hard already, you only have 3 hearts and 5 lives, rotating platforms with spikes, one miss deaths, they shoot you off in the background with those bees flying turds at you but you cant hardly see what you need to do...buzzkill is right lol...I cant play stuff like this anymore I guess,I just dont have the patience...this is kind of aimed for kids, why did they make it this hard...no wonder it didnt do very well...oh well, thank god I tried this on Gamepass lol...

I wanted to like but it just felt soulless to me. If that makes sense.

That is where I am stuck :(

That is where I am stuck :(

I will check again today, maybe we arent suppose to be there right away...? is there any easier levels to keep playing at least...30 minutes in and it gets this frustrating right away...?

Surprised. Only level that caused any problems was the final boss

How can you be stuck? You mean a bug or something.

And why isn't Ori in Game pass????
No, I think on where to go next. I will launch it and see where I am at and let you know.

Well I tried again and the game did not save at the checkpoint...? I had to redo the 3 heads for the big Golem...and I went inside the new hard level that I mentioned above...now I have 8 lives though but still only 3 hearts and I had to quit...I hope I dot have to redo the Golem again lol...

Turns out I didnt have to go back in the background in that 2d level, made it through and on to new sections, game is pretty fun after all lol ;)

Makes me wish they'd try another Blinx game. I played a lot of the first one at launch on OG Xbox and the mechanics and concept were solid. Sadly the sequel was completely forgettable.
