i like using Tapatalk. This is the only forum I use that is not on there. I only use a phone and using a browser is a pain sometimes. Any plans of this forum ever using Tapatalk? It would be nice.

Never. It doesn't work well with the forum software, Tapatalk stopped supporting the plugin, and there were security vulnerabilities. I don't think anything has changed since last time I researched it.

The software running this forum is highly optimised for mobile devices so there is no need for wrappers like Tapatalk.

It is. The only thing missing is push notifications. I can add it, kinda, but it would cost money and people would need to subscribe to an app for money. Not worth it.

Agreed. Push features aren't really a requirement here.

I was using a 5 year old Galaxy Tab 2 for quite a while, and this forum did not work well at all on it. Major lagging and slowdowns galore while trying to post anything. I haven't had any issues after upgrading to a slightly better tablet, but I can imagine the frustrations for anyone possibly using a slow device like I was using.

One thing I have not figured out is how to put pictures in your post from a phone.
