I'm tweaking the header of the site to give it a more seamless look and have it blend better than the current hard breaks. Take a look at it and tell me what you guys think. The Styler would have to be disabled because it prohibits me from tweaking it how I want it. The banners will still rotate as I have done. The style name is "Testing Style Ideas." Give it a look and provide me with some feedback. It's basically the current Cream with a new header look and no styler.

Is it possible to bump the userpanel (username/message/alert thingy) up to the top as well?

Looks good. I can't read the thread title very well, though. It blends into the background. Same with "Thread tools." I guess that'll vary, depending on the background shot you're using (MC in this case).

Correct. It's based on the image background. If it's a darker image like the one now it will be a bit harder to see some things. If it's a lighter image it will be easier. I'll try to choose lighter images in the future to make it easier to see things.

It's killing my bandwidth at work with a SLOW ASS page load for that image.

Since I'm switching around the image and trying different sizes it's not caching. I'm going to keep it as the Master Chief one for a day and let me know how it affects performance.

Roger that.

Stopped using testing style ideas. Too hard to read headers, etc. Just didn't work for me. Back to the oh so awesome cream for me!

I really like how the background is done in the testing style, but like Kvally said, cant really read the headers. Seems like those should be white.
