Thanks for posting that, I had missed this years! The one about the Jaguars was funny as usual. They're actually looking very solid offensively so far this preseason, but I always remind myself that Blaine Gabbert completed a few passes in preseason in his second season and almost at times looked like he wasn't a craven baseball player who woke up in a QB uniform and thrown out to cower to death as punishment for having the name Blaine.

These write ups are hysterical!:
Anyway, there is nothing to suggest that Osweiler deserved the $37 million in guarantees that the Texans paid, a contract they threw down just so that they can look like they care about addressing the quarterback position. Osweiler’s greatest achievement was beating the Pats at home in a game where Gronk nearly died and the refs handed out flags like free restaurant mints. His second greatest achievement is that he is tall, just like the quarterback the Texans cut in the middle of last season. Whoop dee damn doo.

Blaine also played behind the worst offensive line I've ever seen in Jacksonville . Hell I would say my offensive line I played quarterback behind in my high school years was more affective. Lol. I'm trying hard to convince myself that he might have some kind of potential since I'm a huge 49ers fan . So give me some credit . Heh. It will be interesting to see who gets the starting position, Blaine or kaep.

I know you're lying, because I live in (well, a suburb of) Jacksonville. I watched those teams, and the alleged "offensive line" of which you speak was nothing more than Brad Meester at center and a collection of fat people-shaped holes, often being filled by JJ Watt.

Injuries, injuries, injuries galore! NFL is now thinking of changing the preseason's format to reduce injuries. A lot of players are already out due to injuries. Aldo, Zeke Elliot is looking good, so is 12-gauge...Zeke should make the Cowgirls easy........Provided he can stay out of trouble (His former ex trying to scam him for a couple of million for 1, then there is the fact he visited that pot shop in Seattle. Yes, Washington state does allow pot sales but NFL bans the substance. Just look at Le'Veon Bell). I'm hoping 12 gauge can make it too. He looked pretty damn good in the couple of hightlights I saw him.

As a fan of the Jaguars, the Florida Gators and the NFL and NCAA football in general, if someone would have told me in 2014 that San Francisco would probably be starting Blaine Gabbert and have Jeff Driskel as the likely backup, while dumping Kaepernick, and that it would be a highly popular move in the Bay Area, I think my mind would have exploded. I have seen more than my share of sub-par QB play in my time, but Gabbert is an all-timer and Driskel was pretty abysmal near the end of his tenure at Florida (though, to be fair, there's a lot of that on the coaching).

Yea . I agree . Jacksonville managed to win only five games last year without Blaine .

I have a soft spot for the JJ's. Former head coach Jack del Rio was a Raven linebacker coach for a long time and Allan Robinson delivered for my FF team last year.

It's hard to gauge where your team is based on pre season as the games mean absolutely nothing.

But for my Raiders, I'm concerned about the lack of a pass rush, shaky run D and mediocre LB play so far.

Our running game is a question mark too so far.

I'm just hoping Jimmy G doesn't mess it up for my Pats before Brady gets back. Then it's business as usual. Got to get the GOAT that 5th ring.

That division stinks outside of your Pats. I don't think Jimmy can mess it up.
The Bills and Jets defenses are pretty good and designed to stop the NE offense. It sucks that they only face Buffalo at home while Brady is out but I wouldn't be surprised(with some wishful thinking added) if these two teams get a few wins and maybe win the division.
It should be noted that I really dislike the 'riots

Not only that, but the Bills and Jets are both well-coached teams, except for the Bills.

And then you throw in his brother..............................

And now Teddy Bridgewater is done for the season too..................................Season hasn't even started yet and all sorts of injuries have already blasted several teams already!

And now Collin Kaepernick is doing his outmost to piss people off in order to get rid of himself out of town.....................................................He is wearing "Pig" socks since August.

Sucks that Bridgewater got injured. Same thing happened to the Packers when Nelson got injured last year.

Well, four more days before the big kickoff!

Denver-Carolina is tomorrow night, although I'm not sure they'll even make it to the game since once they start playing the national anthem, they'll make a big deal of Kaepernick not being there standing at attention and it'll devolve into fisticuffs.

I just spent 3 hours drafting my guys so I'm ready and excited for tomorrow's game.

Although it's not really NFL related any more, does anyone else have the feeling that the wrong New York team signed Tebow? And even putting aside the fact that he'd be the second best QB on the Jets, if there's one team in New York he'd make better immediately, it's not the Mets... it's the Knicks. ;)

Can't wait for the season to start. Kind of hopeful that the Jags can be competitive with the Packers, though I have doubts about the defense still. I wonder if ESPN can find a way to screw QBR up even worse. Right now, the best all-time QBR game (99.9) by a QB with 12+ plays is a 3 TD/2 INT 12-17, 186 by Charlie Batch, while Bortles got a 3.8 for a 3TD / 0 INT 16-30 performance.

Good opening season game.

All these injuries across the NFL really sucks.

Looking forward to Sunday and seeing what these Cowboys can do without Romo again. Please for the love of god not as bad as last year....

What a game. The champs survive!

Looks like Denver is still going to be a contender with that defense. As long as Siemian doesn't turn the ball over they'll be fine.

If that's a Tindr reference I totally get what you're implying.

I never would have guessed there are so many sporty peeps on these forums.

I have no idea what anything you're saying means, but I agree with all of you! Go team!

(Also, the costumes for this sport are stupid. All that padding? Lol.)

I think their defense is not as good as last year. They didn't get any push up the middle. It allowed Cam to have a much better game this time around.

I'll have to agree. Denver is basically the same team but without a sluggish Peyton 'manning' the helm.. Good to see that Cam seems to have done his homework after getting the s***e knocked out him and the team last Feb.
