The rats are starting to abandon the sinking ship.

"I think Secretary Pompeo and Secretary Mattis are following the lead of the president. There’s not a smoking gun, there’s a smoking saw," Graham said. "You have to be willfully blind not to come to the conclusion that this was orchestrated and organized under the command of MBS and he was intrinsically involved in the demise of Mr. Khashoggi."- Lindsey Graham

To be fair, Lindsay Graham is the sort of guy who will take a principled stand on these types of issues unless it involves a Supreme Court seat, any Senate vote ever, or making room in Trump's sphincter for another wanna-be Attorney General sycophant.

He was never going to win anyway and he just would have taken away a ton of media attention from serious candidates, I'm glad he's not going to push this publicity stunt any further.

Trump on Coming Debt Crisis: ‘I Won’t Be Here’ When It Blows Up
The friction came to a head in early 2017 when senior officials offered Trump charts and graphics laying out the numbers and showing a “hockey stick” spike in the national debt in the not-too-distant future. In response, Trump noted that the data suggested the debt would reach a critical mass only after his possible second term in office.
“Yeah, but I won’t be here,” the president bluntly said, according to a source who was in the room when Trump made this comment during discussions on the debt.

So U.S. had authorities arrest the CFO of Huawei in Canada and are having her extradited here to face questioning. The speculation that its because the U.S. us accusing Huawei of going against sanctions and trading with Iran.

No good will come of this. China may (probably) retaliate against U.S. nationals over there that are executives in companies. Its also causing the markets to fall.

They all seem to have that same smile. That smile that says, "I know this is BS, I know you know it is BS, but I don't care" smile.

Trump’s 2020 Campaign Has Reportedly Funneled Over $1 Million Into His Own Businesses
President Donald Trump‘s 2020 re-election campaign has funneled over $1 million worth of campaign money–donor money–into Trump branded businesses and real estate properties, according to a new report.
Federal election filings analyzed by Forbes say that Trump’s 2020 campaign has raked in millions of dollar from donors while Trump himself has converted at least $1.1 million of those donor funds into his own money by charging “the campaign for hotels, food, rent and legal consulting.”
Trump Tower Commercial LLC is a New York State-based entity owned by the 45th president. As of the latest campaign finance filing, the entity had charged Trump’s re-election campaign at least $665,000 in rent. An additional $225,000 in rent payments have been made to this entity through a similar arrangement with the Republican National Committee (RNC).

He's been doing that since day 1 and sadly, I think it is a legal loophole. Any time he stays in a property he owns, he bills either the taxpayers or his campaign, as he's doing "work" for one or the other.

Theoretically there's nothing wrong with traveling and billing your expenses. The problem of course is what if the president also happens to own all these properties?

Every time he goes golfing, he's billing the taxpayers for him to stay at his own property. He's probably made enough to pay Melania enough to go away.
