Like her or not you've got to respect this.

Soooo, if I'm following her point, the "mistake" Hitler made wasn't genocide, but going outside his own borders?

Also, the people that twist words like socialism into horribly misconstrued things have no leg to stand on with nationalism. When people say things like "protecting a country's identity", that's all you need to hear. What "identity"? Who gets to choose what the identity is? What do I need to do to make sure I'm "American" enough?

I know what nationalists want. I'm not twisting anything. I hear their message loud and clear. My answer is "no". You can't have what you want.

The first step in answering that question is stating Hitler was pure evil and you don’t agree with anything he did. The second step is defining Nationalism as you understand it since that isn’t black and white - then noting which aspects you agree or disagree with.

I guess we can't be more upset than the people who were the "victims" of the offense.

Edit: He's got a great record when it comes to doing what's right by minorities so why should something stupid he did in the 80's be cause for him to quit now? People can change and they generally do from young to old, life experience and exposure to those that are different does that to a person.

I read an article somewhere where the writer used Abraham Linclon who was a known racist in friendly circles and Lyndon Johnson who was openly racists as examples of people in power who got a pass because they helped so much in the rights of minorities.

Bottom line is actions speak louder than words, the guys voting record is as good as it could be when it comes to things that impact minorities and the poor, holding him accountable today for something that he was a part of in the 80's seems a bit silly when you see what he's done. If he was still doing that or if he had a terrible record as an elected official when it comes to issues that impact minorities it'd be a different story.

Congressional negotiators emerged from a meeting late Monday announcing they had reached a bipartisan deal to stave off another government shutdown — without earmarking a dime for the construction of Trump’s long-promised border wall with Mexico, according to a source familiar with the matter.

The El Paso Fire Department late Monday denied President Donald Trump's claim that officials gave him special permission to pack more people in to his rally than the facility allowed.

During his rally at the El Paso County Coliseum, Trump touted his base supporters, saying "there has never been anything like this in the history of our country."

"If you would say, as an example, that tonight 69,000 people signed up to be here," he said. "Now the arena holds 8,000. And thank you, Fire Department. They got in about 10,000. Thank you, Fire Department. Appreciate it."

The El Paso Fire Department said Trump's statement was untrue.

Fire Department spokesman Enrique Aguilar told the El Paso Times on Monday that Trump did not receive permission to exceed the limit and that there were 6,500 people inside the building during the president's rally. The coliseum holds about 6,500 people. There were thousands more watching Trump's speech on big screens outside the facility.

This is what happens when the "fiscal conservative" party takes over. Generations to come will be paying for Trump.

The national debt surpassed $22 trillion for the first time on Tuesday, a milestone that experts warned is further proof the country is on an unsustainable financial path that could jeopardize the economic security of every American.

The Treasury Department reported the debt hit $22.012 trillion, a jump of more than $30 billion in just this month.

The national debt has been rising at a faster rate following the passage of President Donald Trump’s $1.5 trillion tax-cut package a little more than a year ago and as the result of congressional efforts to increase spending on domestic and military programs. The nation has added more than $1 trillion in debt in the last 11 months alone.

“Reaching this unfortunate milestone so rapidly is the latest sign that our fiscal situation is not only unsustainable but accelerating,” said Michael A. Peterson, chief executive officer of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, a nonpartisan organization working to address the country’s long-term fiscal challenges.

Obama and Trump 1v1 basketball game, do you think Trump could even make one basket?
