Its sad how close it really is. Several times the transcript reads 'unintelligible' or 'inaudible'.

AP: Do you feel that one of the things with cable is there's such real-time reaction with everything you say?

TRUMP: Yeah.

AP: Can you separate that sometimes from that actual decision?

TRUMP: The one thing —

AP: That you have to do —

TRUMP: OK. The one thing I've learned to do that I never thought I had the ability to do. I don't watch CNN anymore.

AP: You just said you did.

TRUMP: No. No, I, if I'm passing it, what did I just say (inaudible)?

AP: You just said —

TRUMP: Where? Where?

AP: Two minutes ago.

TRUMP: No, they treat me so badly. No, I just said that. No, I, what'd I say, I stopped watching them. But I don't watch CNN anymore. I don't watch MSNBC. I don't watch it. Now I heard yesterday that MSNBC, you know, they tell me what's going on.

AP: Right.

TRUMP: In fact, they also did. I never thought I had the ability to not watch. Like, people think I watch (MSNBC's) "Morning Joe." I don't watch "Morning Joe." I never thought I had the ability to, and who used to treat me great by the way, when I played the game. I never thought I had the ability to not watch what is unpleasant, if it's about me. Or pleasant. But when I see it's such false reporting and such bad reporting and false reporting that I've developed an ability that I never thought I had. I don't watch things that are unpleasant. I just don't watch them.

AP: And do you feel like that's, that's because of the office that you now occupy —

TRUMP: No.

AP: That you've made that change?

TRUMP: I don't know why it is, but I've developed that ability, and it's happened over the last, over the last year.

AP: That's interesting.

TRUMP: And I don't watch things that I know are going to be unpleasant. CNN has covered me unfairly and incorrectly and I don't watch them anymore. A lot of people don't watch them anymore, they're now in third place. But I've created something where people are watching ... but I don't watch CNN anymore. I don't watch MSNBC anymore. I don't watch things, and I never thought I had that ability. I always thought I'd watch.

AP: Sure.

TRUMP: I just don't. And that's taken place over the last year. And you know what that is, that's a great, it's a great thing because you leave, you leave for work in the morning you know, you're, you don't watch this total negativity. I never thought I'd be able to do that and for me, it's so easy to do now. Just don't watch.

AP: That's interesting.

TRUMP: Maybe it's because I'm here. I don't know.

Wow.............just wow. Massive amounts of stupidity established. :ydizzy:

How is this c*** thistle not impeached yet?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...ent-promotion-trumps-mar-lago-draws-fire.html

The U.S. State Department's recent promotion of President Donald Trump's Florida resort is drawing criticism from Democrats and ethics advocates.

In an April 4 blog post that has been republished by several U.S. embassies abroad, Mar-a-Lago is described as "Trump's Florida estate," where he has hosted foreign leaders. "By visiting this `winter White House,' Trump is belatedly fulfilling the dream of Mar-a-Lago's original owner and designer," the post says.

Left unsaid: Mar-a-Lago is part of Trump's business empire. After his election, the resort doubled its membership fee to $200,000. As president, Trump has visited the property seven times, and its restaurant fills up when he's in town.

The State Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The Mar-a-Lago post originated on "Share America," a State Department project. Its website describes its mission as "sharing compelling stories and images that spark discussion and debate on important topics like democracy, freedom of expression, innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and the role of civil society."

Other topics on the Share America page include a new U.S. coin honoring Frederick Douglass, debate over the Confederate flag and news about first lady Melania Trump's participation in the State Department's International Women of Courage award ceremony.

The Mar-a-Lago post is nearly three weeks old but gained traction Monday when several people noticed the U.S. embassy to the United Kingdom was featuring it. Sen. Ron Wyden, an Oregon Democrat, asked on Twitter why taxpayers are "promoting the president's private country club" and referred to the incident as "kleptocratic."

Norman Eisen, who was President Barack Obama's chief ethics attorney, said the promotion is "exploitation."

Eisen compared it to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway's promotion of Ivanka Trump's clothing business, for which she was "counseled" but not otherwise reprimanded by the White House.

So in the latest Obamacare replacement revision the GOP removed the ban Pre-Existing conditions requirement. Oh, however, if you're a member of Congress or one of their staffers then it will remain in place for you. So they admit its actually necessary but basically if your not one of us special people, f*** off and die.

Amazing.

How convenient. I can't believe people voted for any of these f***ing scumbags.

Prepare for some drilling in the Grand Canyon? Scumf*** is about to sign a bill that will put all national treasures under review to see if it can be explored by oil companies, etc.

f*** off you slob.

Also his new tax plan lol

I know. It's a start, but if they want to really lower taxes and make up for it in growth, they're half-assing it; reduce all taxation rates to zero and we'll get so much revenue that the debt will be paid off in months. #ChurchOfGrover

LOL! I honestly considered that once, but with nothing being paid into services our society would spiral into an unrecoverable dysfunction.

Without public systems and agencies for fairness and oversight, without the courts to defend ourselves, without basic services such as education and the public's general welfare being enforced we'd disintegrate into a cruel feudal-fiefdom system. OR (eventually) the labor class would start beheading everybody in charge. And then turn on each other over secular litanies, illogical misconceptions over skin color and other cultural idiosyncrasies.

Oh man..........taxes is such an old f*cking argument. In fact it's ANCIENT. The failure to recognize that economic engines that are disproportionately balanced always reveal their unsustainablity. The other crazy things like large parts of a nation wanting to withdraw and embrace spreading their own reclusive systems of faith and governance is nothing new either. Wake up America! We're repeating alot of crap that didn't work for other bygone civilizations.

Tax cuts do not stimulate the economy (in most cases). The entire thing is a Republican myth.

The flaws in the idea:

-Rich people tell you they are taxed unfairly. Trump won't share his tax returns because he probably pays very little if any taxes. With all the loopholes, it is actually quite difficult to even calculate what the rich pay in taxes. However compared to most countries similar to the US, it is similar or even lower.

-Rewarding the rich MORE for getting rich is like giving the New England Patriots the 1st round pick in the draft next year. Now, the rich will scream everything from socialism to class warfare to "what's fair". I don't want to punish people for getting rich, but the reality is that once you have a lot of money, it is simple to make a lot more money. I mean look at the athlete that makes millions than pisses it all away. He's an idiot. I mean, once you make a few million, anyone could invest and make more.

-Capital is not a problem. Cutting taxes would only cause growth if companies were cash strapped and heavily burdened by high taxes. This isn't true. Money flows in our system no problem. Nobody likes taxes, but nobody is holding back because of them. If you had extremely high tax rates and the economy actually was bogged down, growth would occur. We're nowhere near those levels.

-Tax cuts for the middle class (me!) is great! However more cash in my pocket will do very little to cause economic growth. Why? Companies respond to market trends. Sure, a tax cut will cause people to buy stuff, but not on a permanent basis. Say I get a little extra back, maybe I buy a new TV or a game console, but that's about it. It helps a little but isn't going to cause electronics makers to expand much if at all.

This has been proven time and time again. Tax cuts = spending with a credit card. The interest comes due some day and it is compound interest. The deficit will explode just like it did under Bush (but people look the other way if they have a little more in their pockets).

Trump to speak at NRA event. Guns are banned from there.

President Trump will give a speech at the National Rifle Association’s annual gathering in Atlanta later today. The NRA has fought tirelessly to make sure that gun owners can take their guns anywhere. But ironically, conference attendees won’t be able to hold onto the rock-hard steel of their sensuous guns as they watch Donald Trump’s speech.

Yes, despite the fact that Georgia has an open carry law, and the fact that this is America’s biggest gun-friendly circle-jerk of the year, the Secret Service has banned guns from the event while President Trump is there.

The NRA is fond of saying that the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. But when it comes to important people, I guess the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a total ban on guns. Go figure.

"My only point is when Gen. Flynn came into the White House, he had an active security clearance that was issued during the Obama administration with all the information that’s being discussed that occurred in 2015," Spicer told reporters.

"The president made the right decision at the right time," Spicer said of Trump's decision to dismiss Flynn in February. "He made the right decision, and we've looked forward."

He said Trump’s transition team and White House staff trusted the work of the previous administration.

"Why would you rerun a background check on someone who was the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency that had and did maintain a high-level security clearance?" he asked.

f***ing scumbag. I want all these people gone. f***ing imbeciles voted for these mother f***ers that are appointing people that are destroying our country.

I know, it's sad Plainview, but we shouldn't be completely shocked either. We always knew that stupid people out numbered us. The thing is that we've always made sure that they've never been given the keys to anything important before. Nobody cared if they freaked out or wore multi-colored tinfoil hats. They did that sh*t in their own neighborhoods and the only people who cared what they thought were ultra hard right drug addicts, alternative racists and serial sexual harassers with their own tv and radio shows.

Well that changed last November didn't it? In a moment of sheer short-sightedness and epic selfish apathy, a tiny portion of voters from the Obama coalition forgot what was important and either stayed home or voted for Jill Stein in empty protest. It wasn't a large number, but it was just enough to push the stupid vote over the top. They didn't think about healthcare, the supreme court, the environment, equal pay, education, science, medicine, affordable housing, electronic privacy, banking and financing regulation etc etc. There was so much important sh*t on the ballot this time. A democratic President with a full super majority will need years to fix the things Trump is doing RIGHT NOW just with his f*cked up executive orders.

.....................And now Trump is bout to address the NRA. First President to do so since Reagan. Oh man what a sh*t show. The country is becoming as ratchet as hell.

Rather than blaming voters, what about the Democratic party for moving forward with only one option to Hillary, and basically screwing him over?

The Democrats win that election easily if they had put in Biden or basically anyone else not Hillary. Obama had almost 60% approval when he left, which is great.

3rd parties actually got a pathetic turnout, even by their standards. Given how unpopular both candidates were, Stein and Johnson basically got nothing.

Also, some good will come of this. Had Hillary won, the Trumpers would still be upset. Now? They got him and many are already having buyers remorse. His approval ratings are falling, so even those that voted for him are realizing their mistake.

No matter how how look at it, they wanted Clinton.

Instead we get this crazy old man not taking his meds and trying to become a dictator and weaken our country to help Russia.

His time will come and everyone else that is involved.

Dems can take some blame as well, lord knows she wasn't my first choice but she was still a better alternative to Trump. The fact that she ran such an awful campaign and lost states she took for granted is what hurt, she still had more votes than Trump but our idiotic way of electing a president didn't do us any favors either.

Biden would have been monumental. trump wouldn't be able to rattle him in no way. He could have picked Obama to be VP too lol.
