Sony recently made the controversial move of announcing PS4 titles will be joining PS NOW later this year. The first move would be a closed beta, which has now started. Thanks to YouTube user King Thrash Gaming, we know now the first round of exclusives arriving on the service.

The list as follows:

  • Killzone Shadowfall
  • Entwined
  • Hohokum
  • Helldivers
  • Escape Plan
  • Knack
  • Counterspy
  • The Unfinished Swan
  • Resogun
  • Doki Doki Universe
  • Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition
  • Sound Shapes
  • Super Stardust Ultra
  • Hardware Rivals (indie)
Like most predicted, many titles are from the first year or so of PS4 releases. Going to have to wait for Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn, Brah!

I own one of those, never played any of the others and heard of 5 of them. But its beta. They are just testing a select few.

All Sony published as well including 100% of the first party launch lineup. So much for no first party games ever appearing.

Should be good news for you then. Don't have to buy a PS4 to enjoy all the top rated PS4 games. So which one are you going to play first? I really enjoyed Killzone and Resogun.

It's live now:

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/07/06/ps4-games-added-to-ps-now-library-hits-500/

’m excited to announce that as of today, the PlayStation Now library includes PS4 games! This lineup is just the start, as we’ll add more PS4 games in the coming months alongside our regular monthly content drops.

On top of that, PS Now’s library has now ticked to over 500 games. That’s a massive range of games to explore and play, all with one subscription, the push of a button, play on your PS4 or Windows PC. With PlayStation exclusives like Killzone Shadow Fall and The Last of US, hit blockbusters such as Red Dead Redemption and Batman Arkham City, indie games like Journey and Broken Age, and many more, the PS Now library really has something for everyone.

Now is the perfect time to try PS Now, or upgrade your existing subscription. By popular demand we are bringing back our $9.99 intro offer for the first month (new subscribers only), and the 1-year subscription for $99.99. That’s less than $9 a month for a full year of on-demand access to an ever-expanding library of PS4 and PS3 games to stream any time you want. Start streaming today because this offer is only available until September 22, 2017.

Regardless of the platform, PlayStation Now is all about great games. Some of the best games ever released were on PS3, many of which are available on PS Now. Here are the top most popular 20 PS3 games on the service so far this year.

Streaming games via PS Now allows you to access other cool PlayStation features. Unlock both PS3 and PS4 trophies, send and receive multiplayer invites (PlayStation Plus not required for online multiplayer within PS Now), and your gameplay status updates will be seen by your friend list. You can also copy your PS4 save files back and forth between your PS Plus cloud storage (PS Plus subscription required) and the PS Now cloud save storage. That way, you can continue your game where you left off if you end up buying it later, or want to finish playing a game on PS Now with your own save file.

If you haven’t given the service a try yet, now’s the perfect time to give it a spin with the seven-day free trial on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Note that in order to take advantage of the $9.99 intro offer, you will need to purchase that directly, as the 7-day trial will transition into the standard monthly subscription.

Has anyone tried this on PC? How does it work? I'm tempted to do a month to blow through some of the games I haven't played yet.

Worked fine here. I didn't have any issues at all. The noticeable thing is the initial loading of the game from the server. Once the game is ready to play, then it's slick. I still prefer playing PS games on my PS though, not on PC.

Knack all the way surely??

  • Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition
Yessss!!! I love ultra creative naming for games! And this one is death-tacular in its crea-deathity.

It sounds like the Grim Reaper has a lipth and endorsed this product officially.

Love it!

Not a good deal for anyone with a PS4, since you can purchase (vs. rent) all of those for under $10. Mediocre selection for the plebes without a PS4, but I guess they're just trying to increase revenue however they can.

Many more PS4 games coming this year though.

Couple of odd choices. Why God of War 3 remastered when the PS3 version is there?

And it is 50 games that were added in Europe

Regardless

Heard it wasn't that good. Looks like the only true way to play PS exclusives is to buy the consoles.

Microsoft's tagline is True 4K. Sony should patent True Exclusives.

Where is Uncharted 4, Infamous Second Son, The Last Guardian, and DriveClub? You guys said it would be there day 1.

There's a 1 week free trial. As long as your internet is reliable there's no more lag then say....Destiny or other persistent titles.

Will keep you updated bruv.

I'm holding out to see if they can drop a few titles I might be interested in. Been holding off on a PS4 because there's only been a handful of games I'd like to play. If I can drop $20 or $40 and get some time in; I'm good.
