Damn! That looks like it would be great on OR. Makes me want another Condemned game....still one of my all-time favorite launch titles.
You won’t be able to survive The Forest until May 30 it turns out, with developers Endnight Games delaying the early access by a week.
The move comes quite suddenly and no reason has been given, but developer Ben Falcone commented on Twitter that he “wasn’t concerned about sales”, and “my only concern is releasing a great game”.
If it has controller support, just buy it on the pc?Looks great. Needs console releases.

Anyway looks good but repetitive.
[QUOTEgameLucid Rifter, post: 179812, member: 185"]Did you think minecraft was repetitive?
I think I'd probably only be able to handle 45 mins - 1 hour at a time max if the game were scary enough.I don't think I would like horror games on a virtual reality headset. I think that would stress the bejeebus out of me, jumping at everything.
I'd love a more relaxed virtual reality world to wander around and explore, though. That would be fun.

Another survival horror in first person? Pass...
I don't know of many console games like this.
Most horror games are first person nowdays or atleast the ones I know. The mine craft idea is unnessary for a horror game. Long story short.
So basically you don't have any examples of something similar even though its just "another survival horror"? I can say that about any game. Oh, that Horizon game "just another 3rd person rpg" oh that Street Fighter 5 game "just another fighter"
Why is the crafting "unnecessary" for a survival game? Why is it unnecessary to build things and use your environment when your stranded alone in a forest? Seems like in minecraft you do it just for the hell of it, here its actually about survival. Hm. Can you set traps, skin animals and use their fur in minecraft and do you have to maintain your energy levels with food in minecraft? Seems pretty different. Ok its an fps, you got me there, what a damn clone! You can name elements from any game and break them down into pieces of other games.
Still waiting for another game example that does this on consoles.
"Another survival horror IN FIRST PERSON". It looks kool for 2 or 3 hours of play and eventully it will get boring/tedious. Most importantly the game isnt scary man. Show me a gameplay video you thought was scary personally. When I play horror games I wanna be mind f*****.
This game is "just another horror survival game." There are loads of survival games just like this.
