For discussion; equipment pics; questions/answers; original material; or anything else related to playing/recording music.

Been playing since 76, always original stuff. Been through several 4 track cassette machines and a couple of digital workstations; never made the jump to all computer based recording. Getting some killer tube tones out of my POD HD500. PRS electric / Martin Acoustic / Fender Bass, Roland V-Drums and Korg Triton keys.

Never will be able to "quit my day job" but it sure is great stress relief!

Here is my modest studio and a fairly recent composition.

This recording is a drum machine, rhythm guitar and lead guitar; one take each. Hope you enjoy.

taught myself to play guitar. just play my own stuff. make stuff up, I used to mix it all down onto a 4 track and played at coffeehouses and open mike's. Now just luulabye the kids asleep with light strumming.

Cool! Sounded great!

I love playing guitar too. Especially electric with some echo and stuff I have to admit. I like acoustic too but the thing that does it for me is electric guitar nice clean tone with reverb and a touch of echo maybe a little hair on it and just get lost for an hour or two :D

Very nice gear! :D

Nice setup man.

I've been "retired" for almost a decade now from percussion. Last show played was i think in 05.

Planning on making a come back once i am done with school.

Have a Premier Birch Custom. Been in storage for a few years. Ready to see my baby setup again haha.
