Wolfie starting to go a little

Nah it's just to early to see if it will continue.

As always it depends on the software which has been an issue for Nintendo hardware.

Just like it was too early to say it would be a failed launch, and it would be Nintendos last console.

^^Software has been a issue for another console this gen as well and that console has nothing that can come close to touching Zelda.

Lol, He's not talking exclusives, but Nintendo's particular issue with 3rd party content that makes up the vast majority of games available- of which, the "other" console has in abundance. But then, you knew that, and just needed your MS jab-o-the-day...

One Amazing game at the very beginning of a generation can't continue to sell systems. We will be lucky to see another Zelda until the Next Generation. The issue is scarcity and loooong waiting periods between big games without 3rd party support to fill the gaps, not that they don't make good stuff.

Ok so I saw an image of the switch with two red joy cons and couldn't help myself!...I had to buy an additional pack so I can now use either....this also came with Snipperclips free!!!

P.S How cool is it that it recognises the colour on the console!!!!!!

Games are games whether exclusive or not.
Zelda has gave the console more sales than most expected...even if it trickles down we have Mario Kart and Splattoon will surely sell in the millions...then we have Zelda's DLC which is coming in a couple months.
This is just off the top of my head and without counting 3rd party games announced and possibly unannounced.

It didn't take Nintendo's console 3 years to release a exclusive with a 9+ average review score.
A machine that fits that criteria isn't one I say has no games.

These two statements contradict each other. If it doesn't matter if they are exclusive then the X1 had a 9+ game way before 3 years.

I skipped the Wii U, and a lot of Wii era. So I'm not burnt out on Nintendo's Franchises. I'm sure this colors my opinion about the Switch. Having said that, the switching function makes it a perfect secondary console. Kids playing and I want to watch tv, take it to your room. Wife wants to watch tv, I can switch it out to portable. It's a convent feature. Will it be my main gaming console, no. Will I play the major Nintendo titles, oh yeah.

This is 100% my take on it as well.

Not exactly the same as it's not be revealed yet. The switch topic was busy around this time as well and up till and shortly after launch

Apart from Zelda it doesn't have games worth talking about.

Only Dno got the joke i see. I agree though, i was just making light that nobody is talking about the Switch in here so the console must be failing. Going by NPD it seems to be doing great. Things will obviously pick up once they release more games.

All the Nintendo haters were wrong about it not selling out as well, so you know they aren't going to post lol

So Puyo Puyo Tetris comes out the same time as Mario Kart you've got to think is that going to impact sales.

I played the demo with the wife and we both loved it, I haven't played Tetris since Windows 98!....I can safely say I'm hooked on it right now and can't wait for the game, I will be buying!

PPT is awesome and it sucks Sega only released it in Japan on Xbox.

There actually might be a stupid licensing issue with the Tetris Company that prevented it. There is something in the licensing that prevents Tetris competing with another Tetris title on the same console. That's why PS4 is likely only physical and since MS probably won't allow physical without a digital version an Xbox one can't be ported.

PPT is cool though, Fusion and Swap modes are a blast. The AI is mean though and i suck.

MK8D tomorrow! Last one i played was DD which i didn't like because of waggle mechanic and the flat boring tracks, this one looks really sweet though.

So is anyone having this issue? When my Switch is docked and sleeping, it seems to keep trying to switch my TV's input to it. The Switch never wakes up or anything but causes my TV to go black. Seems a lot of others are having this same issue too. I actually have to unplug the HDMI cable to my Switch's dock.

If I dock mine when it's turned on it'll switch to it, which is what I want and part of the whole switch screens in an instant so that's fine.

I've not had the issue you're reporting and it doesn't seem right to me so I'd contact Nintendo maybe or look through tv HDMI settings?

You could also properly switch the switch off instead of using sleep mode but that's more of a work around.

It shipped less than the Wii U which sold out as well.

Switch should do ok, especially when they double the battery life and sell it without the dock and goes full handheld.

But haters can also say Nintendo exited the console business too.

If WiiU ports are 9+ material then PS4 and Xbone have their fair share of last generation games in the 90's.

It sold way better than Wii U at launch. Its probably time to stop bringing up the Wii U as evidence of Switch not doing well.

Still doesn't change the fact that the Nintendo haters on this board were wrong

"I wonder if there were a few too many words:

"Nintendo plans to ship 2 million Nintendo Switch units in its launch month, won't be sold"

"Who needs to pre-order a Switch when it'll be available at stores? Just like Wii U."

Again

Somehow I've missed out on all the previous Mario Kart games. So this new one on the Switch is my first time playing.

I am simply blown away. The tracks are amazing, delightful, beautiful, and challenging. The animations are wonderful. The highlight replays are watchable. I can't stop playing it!

[Edit] My boy informed me tonight that we had Double Dash on the Cube. I had forgotten all about it but he went on and on like it still is the holy grail of Mario Kart's. I don't understand why I am drawing blanks and this one feels totally new to me.

[Edit] I totally suck at this game. Boys schooled me tonight bigtime on 3 player. I was consistently last. Online is mixed though usually around the middle. I definitely need to get my drifting down.

Having more issues again with the Switch, I bought a LAN adapter and for whatever reason, the LAN adapter is MUCH slower than Wifi. Again, seems to be a common issue.

I just got my Switch in yesterday, and it's doing that to my Samsung TV too. Besides that, I'm pretty happy with it.

I've remedied it by actually turning off the Switch instead of putting it into Sleep mode. Still annoying as I have to get up to hold the power button....

My Samsung set does the same. I leave it out of the cradle when watchimg TV and dock it for charging when I sleep. Still annoying but not horrible.

Welp, starting to have another issue with the Switch, my Pro Controller seems to randomly de-sync several times during game play .....starting to get really frustrated with this POS now.
