Edit(to be fair, they're both s***. And I'm not one to judge a person, especially on their appearance, but if I were, I'd probably comment on how far she is now.)
 
Got hotel reservations for Sunday and Monday night August 20-21 in east St Louis for the eclipse. Still not sure what I'll do on that day. Originally wanted to go to Carbondale IL at the university since they will have an event going on with NASA and the Planetary Society. It's about 1.5 hours away so considering how big of a cluster it will be I'm not sure yet. Either way I'll be right on the edge of totality so just driving 20-30 minutes south will get me over 2 minutes of totality so should be good either way.

Hotel has free cancelation almost up until check-in on Sunday so if it's going to be cloudy on Monday I won't bother. Got another eclipse coming in 2024 as well.
 
Fortunate to be in the path of totality for the eclipse (Nashville). Lots of events going on to choose from. My favorite thus far is going to this craft brewery that has a Pink Floyd tribute band playing Dark Side of the Moon with the song "Eclipse" hitting right on cue. They are making a special brew too so that's a double win.

Fiancè and I woke up and had sex last night. When we finished we noticed our son sleeping on the floor next to our bed.

Oh my gawd. Has anyone watched the documentary on Stan Romanek? I don't recommend it, if you want to sleep at night. f***ing aliens.

Eclipse day bitches! I'm in St Louis and just about to head out to where I'll be watching it, which is just south west of St Louis and right at the center of totality. Good news is right now at least in St Louis traffic isn't an issue yet. Hope I'll beat the biggest rush later this morning.
 
On my way to do some eclipse viewing in Nashville. Reminder to buy about 100,000 pairs of glasses for the next one and make bank.

It's cloudy here. It was a little visible through the clouds a few minutes back so I got a quick glimpse and figured that was good enough.
 
Man was it amazing. Weather outlook was sketchy even this morning they were saying it could be spotty clouds. It was clear like 95% of the time. Totality really is something that should be witnessed by everyone. Simply amazing.
