I like noticed that I like using the Rich Text Editor when I am at my laptop but not when I'm not my smartphone because it bogs it down. I've noticed that when the Rich Text Editor is on by default in the preferences, you are allowed a button right below the text box to turn it off, but when I have the Rich Text Editor turned off in the preferences, there isn't such a button to turn it back on.
