The Walking Dead (TV) **NO COMIC SPOILERS**

Killing of the pigs seemed pointless even more so with Rick looking at about 30 walkers at another part of the fence right after. Could have used the truck to you know run some over or push up against the fence.

Still better than last weeks episode.
 
The episode wasn't too bad. Things are building up it seems. I was worried about Tyrone there for a minute. He might as well took out the whole army of zombies lol. Dude was furious.

Sucks about Glen, but I am more than confident that he will live and Hershel may not.

The Tyrese story kinda played into the comic book also which was kinda nice.
 
Was it just me or did the guy to get bitten at the throat while sleeping look a bit like Norman Reedus from the side?

Could you imagine the outrage if Daryl had been killed like that?
 
Looks like its Carols turn to do lots of stupid s*** now.

Also Tyreese + Carpenters hammer = Awesome sauce.
 
Next episode looks like Rick is going to pull a Shane and take Carol out for supplies, hehe. Well not really like Shane because Rick has a reason to take out Carol she murdered 2 people before they even died and people are still getting sick so wtf was the point. Carol gotta go.

I have a feeling Rick is going to keep that a secret for a while.

But it will eventually come out.. will give Ty a reason to be angry at both of them.

Maybe Carl will find out and he'll feel obligated to tell Ty the truth.
 
I'm thinking it was actually
Lizzie that killed Karen and Carol is just taking the fall to protect the girl and trying not to let the teaching the kids about weapons truly bite her on the arse.

Completely possible after Carol tried to egg-on the kid to shiv her dad in the head before he died. That and I believe that r******d kid was feeding zombies rats. Hope the litle idiot dies from the flu.
 
Yeah rewatch the part were Lizzy tells Carol she's come down with something with a fake cough. Lizzie did it, you need proof. Carol tried to get Lizzie to shiv her father and called her weak. Then Carol was so quick to admit it to Rick that she murdered two people in cold blood and burned them. Lizzy wanted to feign a sickness to use the blade she clearly had on her side holster to kill every single person on that block, watch. And Carlos emmotional state when she went in wasnt becuase she was sick it was only because she put it all in motion by calling her weak, now she will do it again to prove Carol wrong.

This series is dying a slow death. Darryl is too soft now, all the good actors are gone. Please bring back the gubnya, at least he is entertaining. oh while you are it, please get rid of Santa Herschel. Im about to have an aneurism from all his metaphors.

I thought so too at one point but..hmm

I thought both bodies were dragged there and placed too neatly side by side. I don't think Lizzy could've done that on her own ..unless she injured both to make them crawl (causing the 2 blood trails) and lured them there. I do however believe that cough Lizzie gave was fake as hell. She's probably gonna cause some havoc down there. We'll see in the next ep. Lizzie..zombie killer X... She could've done it, (not disputing it).. but some things don't add up

Bob who I still don't trust and The Governor.

The ultra-violence is done exceptionally well. It's damn near beautiful actually.

I understand that for TV you can't be as hardcore as the book, but every time the group gets into these moral dilemmas the show grinds to a full stop & becomes a soap opera.
 
There's a couple things that bug me about this show. I love the show btw, just felt like contributing here.

1) No one has ever said the word zombie. This is supposed to be a post-apocalyptic world where before this crazy infection happened it was the world we live in. They've never thought these walkers are just like zombies? was the description of zombies copyrighted? or the original writer wanted to be different so bad that they refused to have anyone ever say zombie?

2) I think it would really suck to die and come back as a walker. your first thought when you come to as an undead is to eat living human flesh. If I were a part of this and had a group of people that I spend all day with I'd probably have a discussion about what to do with me if I ever get infected, and I would tell them to stab my brain should I ever get infected the second they lose my pulse or suspect that I will get infected and they won't be able to help me, and to never ever let me "turn" even for one f***ing second or a pox on them!

Haha, otherwise really enjoy the show and can't wait to see where it's going!

1) This bothers me as well. Names like "Skin eaters", "Biters", "Lame Brains" etc. have been used.
2) Has been addressed in the show, iirc.

If I may, in the WD Universe there is no "Zombie" folklore. There are no movies, books or anything related to the word "Zombie". Hence with no frame of reference to the word "Zombie" then no reason why anyone in the WD Universe would ever call them that. Instead they call them exactly what they are "biters", "walkers" and such.

Cool?

Also, Marvel comics used to have the copyright on the word "Zombie" from 1975-1996 for their "Tales of the Zombie" comic. Don't know if the word is copyrighted at this moment.

Just going on the last show with this. Maybe I can recall this coming up in the second season etc.

But the danger they're in last show, and with what was going on with people being sick and not knowing if they're infected etc. you'd think there'd be a dialogue in the episode with someone saying "don't let me turn. just kill me please I don't want to experience one second of turning over!" I guess I would just like to see that, as that is how I feel watching the show.
 
Pretty sure I read they can't actually say the zombie word in this?

Wasn't that the Whole point of the Andrea Saga at the end of season 1(?) when they were at the CDC.
