The white boxes in every post are annoying just add white letters and not black.

He's taking about the white box the posts are in. It breaks it up so it's easy to follow posts. I like it.

I believe he's talking about the actual white/gray behind where the post text is in the Union Mid-Tone style. I don't really like it too much either I feel like it makes everything look too blocky, but I use the B&W style so I don't care.
