Traded my Witcher in, but that looks like a nice expansion pack for those who want more of the game. May 31st.

Installed update 1.20 and Gerald of Rivia still wears more eyeliner than half the female cast combined

And Finished Blood and Wine, have only the gwent card collection left and some undiscovered locations.
And same as before I just wish there was even more, that there would be more stories in the series.

This is next my list to go back and finish. I think I was about three quarters through the story. It's easily one of the best RPGs that's ever been made.

What iis the estimated game length of the 2 expansions (individually). I am thinking if they are worth my money, or better put this moeny into DOOM or UC4.

Lets see, main game took me 100 + hours, Heart of Stone 9+ hours , Blood and Wine took me then around 34 - 35 hours this according to steam, then again I took about every side quest in Blood and Stone I could find and have had free from work :txbsmile: sow more than 10 hours each day I have played that sounds right.

I started a new game. Ten hours in and I'm still only level six. On max difficulty, exp is throttled down like hell. And I can't complete level eight quests because wolf man has regen health. And I'm still running into new quests that I did not find before.

Still doing the Blood and Wine expansion. All the side quests have been great but 1 in particular was a great nod to the first witcher game. Can't wait to see what else I stumble into.

I really wish they'd just keep adding expansions like the new one annually to the series, it's such a great game even with it's flaws it just seems kind of wrong to leave it. They've already built this big beautiful world, seeing improvements made over time along with new stories would be great.

Finally finished the main quest, the ending was great!

Now, which DLC should I get first? Does it matter? I'm thinking of only getting one of them.

Do yourself a favor and get both DLCs. They're both excellent. If you get both do Heart of Stone first then Blood and Wine. Heart of Stone story wise makes more sense to do first do to Blood and Wine's ending. However if you only intend to get one of the dlc's, get Blood and wine. Heart of Stone is a good dlc but Blood and wine is a proper expansion.

Yeah and I think Blood and wine costs twice as much as well.

Since I couldn't download the massive update and the expansions, I'll finally get a chance to play them when the Complete Edition comes out next week. I just wish the old game saves were compatible with the CE...

The Witcher 3: GOTY edition or Skyrim special edition for someone who has never played a game like these before?

I'm not sure what type of mods Skyrim will have, but if you're just comparing the 2 games alone, then The Witcher 3 is far superior in pretty much every way.

Might give this another go, I got bored after 10-15 hours in my first try. There's just sooooo much talking! I consistently have a hard time caring about video game characters, so really dialogue heavy games can be a challenge for me.

Also hated having to repair my weapons and armor non-stop. Reminded me of Far Cry 2 where the guns degrade, it's such a stupid feature.

I also hate games with a lot of dialog, but this game has a very interesting story for the most part. There's a few side missions and main story parts where it becomes tedious, but the majority of it is great. You can carry stuff to repair your weapons and armor at least.

This game has been my favorite game this generation so far.

This game. Never finished it for the simple fact that it's such a deep game. Even for an RPG when you know what to expect, it just feels overwhelming. One day i will. Probably just gonna start over on the hardest difficulty since it's been awhile.

Looks like the PS4 HDR update is going up today.

A new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles is now available! The most notable changes are introduction of HDR and stability improvements, related to crashes experienced by players.
List of changes:
  • HDR support;
  • various performance optimizations;
  • stability improvements;
  • localization bugfixing;
  • minor visual improvements.
Thank you for your patience!
