The Wrestling Topic

He stopped using the first version because of EC3 in TNA I think, whose been using the move longer. That said, I do like the fact that a DDT is a finisher again. It's been a long time coming as far as I'm concerned.

Overall, I agree about Ambrose. He's never excited me, even when he was on the indies. Good for him though on achieving all of his success though. It seems like WWE is behind him because he has that "CM Punk" type of aura about him.

Honestly I think a tornado DDT or even a standard DDT looks more impressive than that one, people have the option to flip over with those two versions of the move but his makes them look really protected.

Think they'll split off the WHC from the WWE title and run with two world championships again?

Lesnar going in Raw. What I find funny is that people got mad at him for testing positive, but does anybody think the UFC was not aware of his situation going in? Especially Dana? The facts came after the fight, very conveniently, and it wouldn't surprise me if UFC is just as selective on drug testing as the WWE is.

White is adamant brock passed 9 tests before that.

Still not said I'd he will be banned for that and Brock says he takes stuff for asthma. He hasn't been banned otherwise the fight would have been changed to NC

i cant believe people think the orton being busted open wasnt scripted lol WWE can still trick people it seems

That new belt is terrible. Loved all the booing

the downloaded version of summerslam did not have the unveiling.. did they somehow cut it out?

Del Rio gone and reports saying they threatened to fire Paige if they kept seeing each other [He is married and apparently their relationship has caused a 'toxic' atmosphere backstage but other reports saying it was all because of total divas which wwe still thinks people believe is real for some dumb reason.

That's one crazy rumor. So Rio and Paige are supposedly banging, and WWE wants to keep kayfabe on their reality show.

What's funny is this behaviour is what pushed Edge into the main event

Edit. Latest reports say Paige is trying to get out of her contact now Dell Rio is gone

Should be said that ADR said things weren't anywhere near as crazy as it was reported, and that his second departure was much better. Not sure about what's happening with Paige, but I'd be willing to bet that things were just as exaggerated with her.

CM Punk got destroyed by a no-name MMA fighter with 2 matches under his belt in 2 minutes.

I couldn't believe what I saw. The UFC puts this match as the third fight in the card behind two big name heavyweight fights, and it was a farce.

From the second the ref said go, CM Punk had no ideas what to do. He charged in like an idiot and the 24 year old opponent sidestepped it, and soon after tackled him to the ground. Soon after, tap out.

The should have learned after the dumb James Toney fight years back which got hype too.

UFC should never do these shameful fights ever again.

2 pro fights. But Gall has had a lot of buzz for a while now.

Brock also lost the first time he went to UFC.

And James Tony went into it thinking he could just box to a win and did 0 ground work.

Punk will keep working only now he will work from the ground up rather than go straight up against a future title contender. He took the bigger fight rather than the easy win.

Brock was in a different situation. Huge, surprisingly fast for such a big guy, excellent college wrestler, younger.

Brock doesn't have a good chin and has lost a few times, but you'd never see him fight a match they way CM Punk did.

The way CM Punk fought, he looked like what a fat guy watching Sunday Football would fight like if he got drunk.

Punks a white belt and Gall a brown so he was always up against it.

You don't see brown belts vs white in tournaments.

Punk will lose fights but he will also win some.
He picked this weight class but could always drop down

Punk will be back in WWE soon if he knows what's best for him. Why get beat up to prove a point? Accept that the world doesn't revolve around you and come take your place back atop the card.

WWE have apparently put a bid in for TNA...

surely just to put old shows on the network plus I believe tna own some if RoH

That's because the money was there. Make no mistake, it was all about the big fat paycheck. Win or lose, Punk probably ended up making more than most of the fighters that night.
