The Wrestling Topic

So sad, I know he's had a hard time of it for many years now so this he is probably better off but man this one hits hard. He's easily my favorite wrestling personality of all time, nobody was a better manager or color commentator and nobody was as good of an all around entertainer as he was. RIP Brain!

They really need to get Booker T off of Raw, his commentary SUCKS! his voice isn't right for the job and even if it was he makes no sense half of the time.

Not agreeing..luv his heel persona.
Monkey Cole and (thank goodness he retired) jbl are terrible and so is jerry to a lesser extent.

He's not being a heel though he's just confused and doesn't know what to say, he's never been suited for commentary. Lawler was good back in the day when he could actually be Lawler, now he's just an old guy trying to be nice.

First thing they need to do is go back to two man announce teams, there is no need for three people, then they need to at least on one show get a heel with a good sense of humor, nobody is Bobby Heenan or Jim Cornette these days but someone who at least was in that direction would be preferred.

Of course the times we are living in probably don't allow for that but a guy can dream right? :)

I wish I knew more about the NXT guys, too bad this isn't happening on the main roster.

WWE is getting so bad I can't stand it. I spend 10-20 minutes fast forwarding each show on DVR looking for stuff to have any interest in. I spend more the watching the women's matches hoping for inappropriate views more than anything else on each show.

NXT> Main roster by far

Seems like in many ways that's the case, I should get the network for NXT and 205 Live but I still haven't yet. I tried it once and I know it's silly but it pisses me off how they replace some of the entrance music in classic matches because they are too cheap to pay for it. I love the Midnight Express and hearing them come out to what sounds like radio shack keyboard demo music or Demolition come out to what sounds like background music from a Capcom fighting game it annoys the hell out of me lol.

205 live pales in comparison to the cwc so you aren't missing much.
NXT and its Take Over PPV's are one of my main reasons for keeping the Network.

I've never gotten to see any of the nxt stuff, but it looks more interesting than the stuff they air on TV.

I heard Jimmy Jacobs was fired over a Bullet Club invasion photo. Wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the reason for Neville wanting out. Some things never change in WWE I see.

So glad The Shield is back. Hope the rumors of Ambrose turning on Rollins aren't true. We need another run, put all the belts on them and have them beat people down for the next 2 years.

Sucks that Reigns couldn't go at TLC. Was kinda random when i heard Angle was taking his place.

I really wish there was a viable 2nd big league option for these guys, WWE would not only have to try harder but also hopefully treat their performers a bit better. As a kid it was always nice having WWF on in the mornings and then watching NWA/WCW on TBS in the afternoon and more NWA late night. I kind of miss that old dark arena look and NWA shows opening with highlights of a match and no commentary over it, just the crowd and the sounds from the action in the ring. Also miss having that nice contrast between the WWF's sort of cartoon look and the NWA/WCW more real life look and of course I miss having managers who could talk crap like Bobby Heenan and Jim Cornette.
