Fox edged ABC on Monday as “The X-Files” fended off “The Bachelor” in the key 18-49 demographic.
Nobody could top CBS in total viewers, however. ABC was also runner-up there, though the gap was comparatively wider.
Fox was first in ratings with a 2.1 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but third in total viewers with an average of 6.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m. ET, “The X-Files” earned a 2.5/8 and 8.3 million viewers. At 9, “Lucifer” posted a 1.7/5 and 5.5 million
ABC was second in ratings with a 2.0/6 and in viewers with 7.6 million. “The Bachelor” at 8 had a 2.4/8 and 8.5 million viewers. “Castle” at 10 got a 1.1/4 and 5.7 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 1.8/6 and first in viewers with 9.6 million. At 8, “Supergirl” received a 1.8/6 and 8 million viewers. At 9, “Scorpion” had a 2.0/6 and 11.2 million viewers. At 10, “NCIS: Los Angeles” got a 1.6/5 and 9.7 million viewers.
