I have an absurdly boring job driving a semitruck and looking around for music to add to my MP3 player. (No I don't do the Country music thing like so many truckers). My favorite things to listen to seem to be Theme Scores or music that is kind of 'Cinematic' if that makes sense. Many instrumental, but not all. I do tend to really like things that are a mix of Orchestra and Synth

I mostly dig up stuff from Movies and TV, but maybe some people can think of other sources. Here are a few examples of what I like lately.

I like this edited and extended version of the theme to FRINGE

BEYOND THE BLACK RAINBOW: Sentionaut Theme

A reworked X-Files Theme score by UNKLE

Silent Hill 2 Theme

Pacific Rim End Credits

From some crazyass indy movie. Industrial sound with some Synth. Kinda weird, but it works from driving a semitruck through big cities.

TRON Legacy

This is nice when driving down a long stretch of highway

The same composer Ramin Djawadi did Pacific Rim. I might look up more of his work.

M83 Oblivion OST: Waking Up
