Taking on the tole of Henry, the son of a blacksmith, you'll be thrown into an ongoing civil war that pulls you and your family into the fight. Now it's time to pick up your sword to join the fight and journey to 15th century Bohemia in this historical drama.

Games
Fe
February 16, 2018

Xbox One X Enhanced - Journey through a dark Nordic forest and explore its living, breathing ecosystem filled with secrets and mystical creatures. Games
Claybook
February 16, 2018

Every inch of the environment of Claybook is made from -- you guessed it -- clay! Every item in the game has matter inside of it, be it liquid or solid, and it can be manipulated and destroyed. Each chapter of "the book" will challenge you with obstacles and puzzles as you morph clay into a variety of shapes and sizes to overcome challenging scenarios.

Claybook and The Fall not showing as Xbox One X enhanced. That is a bummer. Fe is the one game that interests me out of these.

Three guys made this.
It uses UE4, and the site says it's 60fps on PC and Consoles. Interesting. That is some awesome tech I hope to see expanded on for use in other games. Apparently uses volumetrics. I haven't seen anything quite like it . Especially the fluid sim...

60fps, that is pretty cool.

Curious, do you think the Xbox One X could run games at 120fps? I mean, as it is developed without an update. So for example, lets say the guys that made this Clay game made the game 120fps and released it on Xbox One X. Do you think MS would have stopped the game during the approval process for the store and said "The Xbox One X isn't programmed to recognize 120fps".

More of a curiosity question, because I am not sure how all that stuff works.

I imagine that all depends on where it bottlenecks. I'm doubtful. I would be interested to see exactly what methods they are using. Are volumetrics a GPU or CPU thing?

Yes....but as no-one else on console really exceeds 60fps it would be a waste and that 60fps saved would be better spent on better visuals at 60fps.

I'm not sure enough TVs (if any) can even do 120fps gaming, though I wonder if you could get a sort of supersampling effect in responsiveness...

But a gaming monitor could. I guess I was just wondering if MS locked the console at 60fps.

That looks really creative. I'm not sure what you're supposed to do, puzzler? But I want to play it.
