Transformers: Bumblebee

Like the use of original VDub style on Bumblebee. Looks like he picks up a Jeep form later on, judging by the grill.

So, I still can't tell if this is a reset to the entire Transformers movie series, or is this a prequel?

That looks pretty good. I especially like the G1 old
School look of Soundwave and the others they showed. It’s looking like it’s going to be what the first one should have been.
 
It only took what 5 or 6 movies to figure out we wanted the OG transformers design. All that wasted time.
 
My current theory on critical response to these movies...

These movies are a hit with the masses. They come out every 3 months.

A true critic has disdain for such formulaic slop, but a true critic must also feed his or her family.

If a critic gives their honest opinion about these movies, the people will ignore them. If people ignore them, their children go to bed hungry.

The critic must then falsify their opinion so that the masses don't ignore them.

These movies are a blight on humanity and will be used as evidence in 500 years as a sign we were about to enter a new dark age.

TLDR: Go watch The Mule.

Have you actually seen the movie? Oh yeah that’s right you’re just talking out your a**.
 
This might get me out to see a Transformers movie in theater again. Last one I saw in theater was Revenge Of The Fallen. I was disappointed after that and just kept watching each new one at home.
 
After reading some reviews from a few people I know I’m really excited to see this in theater. Going to try and take my oldest boy to see it next weekend.

Everyone saying it is better than all the sequels and has a cool 80’s soundtrack, look, and feel. Can’t wait!

Heading with my son to see it on Monday. Can’t wait either.

Taking my niece to see this then.... she loved enter the spider-verse. She wants to do her hair like Gwen lol I told her on the drive back “when I die you can be a spider girl” she said “I gotta find Spider-Man first” :p
