Ubisoft offers free DLC and game of choice for AC Unity issues

Sounds like a good compensation to me.

Note: the free game is only for season pass holders that bought before and it seems they have removed the option of buying the season pass now.

To show our appreciation for your continued support, weā€™re making the upcoming Assassinā€™s Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC free for everyone. For Season Pass holders, we will also offer the choice of one additional game from a selection of Ubisoft titles for free. If you purchased the Season Pass or Assassinā€™s Creed Unity Gold Edition (which includes the Season Pass), you are eligible to choose one free game from among a select list of Ubisoft titles.* These are:

  • The Crew
  • Far Cry 4
  • Watch Dogs
  • Assassinā€™s Creed Black Flag
  • Rayman Legends
  • Just Dance 2015

yeah really good on ubi and hell even far cry 4 is one of the free games not bad.
 
Some very good compbo on offer there. I'll take that free dlc happily
 
How much was the Season's Pass? $30? If so, yeah they are cutting it off, but you get a free game.... FC4! Looks like Season's Pass holders lucked out,
 
Now if only Bungie would follow suit with some free Destiny DLC.

STILL have not been able to complete a single round in the Crucible without being disconnected.
 
Microsoft needs to get their act together and do something along these lines for Halo:MCC, because the issues with that game are just embarrassing.

Other than one day a couple weeks ago when the PS4 update came out, I don't think I've been booted more than 2 times my entire time with the game.

Now I understand it's a different console, but are these problems widespread or may it be an issue with your connection?
 
When it is available? I got Unity with my PS4. I may try it after I am done with Dragon age, & they patched the game to be stable.

This is not free game. Everyone receiving a game paid for a season pass which they are not getting in addition to receiving a game that was knowingly released broken in order to make holiday shopping season. It is a decent gesture but so is cuddling with your prison roommate after you ass rape them.
 
You can't hate on Ubisoft after that. All you can really expect is that they acknowledge and fix the problem. Now they're giving you free DLC for the issues.
